Hello Everyone,

I bought this phone & I am continously receiving Network Messages like 50 sms's per day, I talked to vodafone and they said it's not their message. Is there someone who can guide me to stop these network messages I am receiving.

Thanks
Vikas

I've bought the b7320 just for testing windows. I've been a nokia user all the time. My first impression on this unit is as follows..
    Nice design and built.
Contacts management is very poor.. can not add more than one number to a contact name. Can not assign a separate ring tone to a contact. Can not group contacts in a contact group where you specify this is a family or business or friends group.
Can not get the home screen that is in most of the mobile pictures. I've done some studies, and these restrictions seem to be because of the non-touch windows mobile standard edition. I'm looking to upgrade to 6.5 as this could improve things.
Camera is poor. I used to have a nokia 6120 with 2.0 mega pixel camera that had better pictures and zoom than this one.

Preliminary feedback on Win 6.5 upgradation done yesterday at Samsung India service centre. Checked in the phone and got it back after 2 hours. The phone as expected lost all its installed applications. New OS build has an empty Java screen i.e Samsung doesnt very few applications with this upgrade.
          Coming to observations :
          a) Battery sticks now reduce from left side instead from right side in previous version.
          b) Not able to get GPRS or GPS working yet. Suspect GPS driver is missing in new O.S. as GPSed scans and doesnt find inbuilt GPS.
          c) WIth previous MTNL settings GPRS not coming up. Struggling for solution.
          d) Observing Wifi dropping connection intermittently and then restarting thus disturbing downloads. Previously it was operating seamlessly.
So am worried whether the upgrade was a risk not worth it.
Awaiting assistance from others who have upgraded.

jackie, 18 Feb 2010is it user friendly? It is far more user friendly then most Windows based mobiles, Samsung did a great thing by smothering it in there own OS i think, and for $589 from a Telstra Dealer you can't ask for more i say. (with wi-fi, brillaint)
By the way, i have the e71 and i like it more, not because im a Nokia fantatic, because it is a far nicer looking fone and it feels more solid.. and i would rather any other OS over Windows mobile, a mobile is a mobile, not an exstantion of your computer (though i own a iMac not a PC)
              Cheers Al

Guys,i bought this fon and i've been using it for a week. Am in Kenya so some applications arent supported by network provider e.g video calling. Battery power is ok....lasts 3 days when using internet applications and upto 4 days if activity is limited to calls and texts only. Am still trying to figure out how to use microsoft word from a blank page...(as well as powerpoint and excel). The phone is surprisingly light..and has a cool carrying case. So far...so good!!

my B7320 got problem when installed via internet to upgraded to winmo 6.5 but unfortunately the software is wrong version (for samsung jack), samsung center promised to change the sparepart (pba) due to couldnot restore the original system to winmo 6.5 or even winmo 6.1. In indonesia need at least 3 weeks the fastest can get the sparepart because need to order from singapore. So if you need uprgade to winmo 6.5 DONT TRY UPGRADE FROM INTERNET,BETTER GO TO SERVICE CENTER,ONCE YOU INSTALLED WRONG SOFTWARE, SAMSUNG WILL REMAIN SUCK IN AFTER SALE SERVICE at least in my lovely country INDONESIA.

this device does have the ability to create word and excel files. look for two files called book1.xlsx and doc1.docx, they are somewhere in your device and provide a blank model for you to open, edit them and save them with a different name, thus creating the file. if you prefer, copy a blank word or excel file from your pc's office 2007 to the device and name it as you like.
