I still am very pleased with this phone, but the Samsung GPRS web browser does seem a little dated, is there any way to remedy this?

Just bought the C300 yesterday for £40 (Virgin Mobile), but that includes £5 top-up + 200 Anytime Anynetwork minutes as well. Excellent phone, replaced my 1112 wich I dropped once, and unfortunately broke. The C300 feels much sturdier and less tacky than the 1112 did. Also came with Sudoku trial which I purchased the unlock code for, hours of fun.

Why don't people just look up the features of a phone before buying it? It's not difficult. This phone does exactly what it says on the tin, for a pocket money price (£30). Perfect!

this phone is great,if you want phone that have sms, and that you can use for calls you got it..I mean that is why you call it mobile phone..i dont need no camera,if you want camera buy a digital camera instead of phone..all i need is phone i can talk with and long battery life..and few sms here and there.. to me presonaly it is better to give 150 euros for digital camera that have great images, instead of buying a phone for 200 euros who wont have even close image quality like digital camera...this is mobile phone and nothing else..my advice- if you need phone for talk and sms buy it..

@DS: let that serve as a lesson for you .. next time, try and do a little research on what you purchase. don't just buy a device and complain afterwards. its a "cheap" phone ... what do you expect out from it?

It's very reasonably priced and looks stylish. It allows me to speak to people and to send and receive sms, and these are the only reasons I want a phone! In addition it keeps me organised. I want to be "entertained" by a ringtone for Heaven's sake? I don't need another camera! It's GREAT!

Just bought it in Tesco for 40 quid as my old phone broke. Got 10 quid Virgin voucher which worked with my contract SIM so got it for 30 quid. Never used the camera, etc on my old phone so it does all I need. The words 'Fun Club' appear when I switch my phone on which is a bit disconcerting

is it a phone! (very good!!)
A few points
Had loads of phones, Mostly by Nokia, all good but just need a basic phone. Bought this and works a treat, does what it says on the box..
Mobile PHONE..with some basic features such as alarm and a few simple games
If you want the bells and whistles get a higher spec phone by the same people:
more spec => more money
this phone is a good basic phone
Thanks Dan
