It is requested to all my friends not to purchase samsung product(esp.mobiles)because of lower standard handset as per price and very poor service from company service centre (specially at bhubaneswar,odisha centres)

battery standard is very worst.actual standby is only 1 hour instead of 10 hours as specified by the company.

it is a good fone,i had not initially understood the sim switch key utility..now tht i kno its so easy to switch between the two sims..its a very user friendly fone.thr r problems with msg typing.a lil slow i believe.but otherwise overal worth the price.im happy with it.

Just type the no and press call switcher button on right side of phone and select any sim.

its a nice set better to use,the only problem v cant make call from both sim unless v reboot,otherwise the set is worth for rs 5k

I bought this phone from The Phone Company PLC Sri Lanka. I am really sorry about the quality of the phone I found in Sri Lanka. It looks like a cheap Chinese phone. Very heavy. The display doesn't have enough features to make the phone looks better. I am not happy with the price for this phone too. Worth only about 60% of the price. :(

I am using this C5212 dual SIM for last 6 months. I ma happy with it. It's not gr8 phone but its utility phone in dual SIM category.
Regarding your query, you don't need to reboot the cell.
Once you set both the SIM Cards as primary and secondary respectively...
You just have to type the call number and THEN you have to use the SIM swap key which is at right side...
That's the easiest way to swap the sims???

Very poor service by company. They themselves are unable to repair it in warranty period. Since last 40 days mine phone is laying with them and they are unable to rectify it. Do not buy the phone.

i thought of throwing this mobile into dustbin becaz i believed that to call from another sim number i need to reboot this .. guys over here had given the clues that it is not to be so .. and i found the way how to do it which is as simple as 123.. thanks a million for saving a heart burn or two

Please beware. There is a widely known fault with this phone that Samsung are trying to conceal. Moreover it concerns its central raison d'etre, the dual SIM capability. Many users on a number of forums around the world, and now including myself, have units that hang on startup when 2 SIMs are used with the words "SIM initialising". The problem does not occur when a single SIM is used. Various users have developed workarounds that sometimes work, but Samsung themselves appear to want to pretend this problem does not exist. I was personally told by them that "the phone is not a UK model, therefore they do not support it". This despite the fact I purchased it in the UK.
As I said, think twice before purchasing this product, when its manufacturer is so reluctant to support it core feature when it goes wrong.

Hi im using samsung c5212,
if i make my sim1 as primary sim and sim2 as sec sim.
if i want 2 make call from sim2 i need 2 press the key which is right side of mobile(sim selection key),so reboot the mobile and then only im able to make call from sim2.
is there any easiest way?

u can play internet at sam sung pc suite but mayby speed very slow
