suppose you are using sim1 and someone calls u on sim2, then the caller will get "call-waiting". If both the the sims are on standby, u'll get calls from any of the sims.

This phone looks good & the features will be definately much better than micromax etc dual sim phones. But what I wanna know is that can the two sims work at the same time ?? i.e. dual standby!! In my views a phone is dual sim only when it can get in-calls for any of the sim at any time without switching between them.

The samsung C5212 is a fantastic phone. I've noticed that many people complain about the phone rebooting when you have to change sims. well if you want to make calls without rebooting the handset, just punch in the desired number or select number from contacts AND THEN change the sim with the dedicated button. you'll see how convenient it is. Same goes for msg.
Surprisingly even the people selling it don't know about this feature. I guess the same goes for the other samsung dual sim mobiles though i have'nt tried 'em.
Just think. if u were to reboot the phone to change the sim card why would they provide the "sim change dedicated key" when u can always do it by switching the phone on and off. AYA.

??? for any body who owns this phone. Can we change the incoming message alert to any MP3 or other compatible format or are we restricted to those old 4-5 alerts like in old samsung phones??? Thanks.

Pls can anybody tell me whether we can buy a battery which should match to it's slot, with 1500mAh or more so as to boost its battery back-up further. Presently, in the last 4 months i am getting 48- 58hrs back-up in a standard use.
