Before posting any comment, first search your solution under Search comments textbox. U can make phone calls and send messages from both SIMs slots without restart of your mobile. select ur phonebook entry or type the phone number and press SIM selection key once to switch over the SIMs. It is so simple as 123....

lexz, 02 Mar 2010i can not send an email using my c5212 handset. every time ... moreI am sending n receiving emails on my C5212 mobile from day 1. No problem. Contact ur service provider to resolve this issue. I am from Pakistan having ZoNG and JAZZ networks and I can send emails from my both SIMs without any restart of mobile.

1. How... more(a) It is not possible to turn-off display light during using java software.
(b) To minimize java application, just press end call button. You will see two options 1. Hold java application 2. Exit. Select option 1 and u will be on home screen with text option “Press OK to retrieve Opera Mini or ur java application”. If u can't do it then this is due to different firmware version. Any Pakistani user can confirm it. I am from Pakistan and the options like minimize java application and phone call recording features are present. My mobile's firmware version is “C5212JPIF1”.
(c)Use Samsung New PC Studio with your C5212 and u can download it from pk.samsungmobile.com website. Samsung PC Studio 3 has no support for this mobile. U must use Samsung New PC Studio for it. The downloaded file size is 84.2 MB.

I have been using this model for the last 3 months... I feel it is a good model having Dual Sim.... But I feel some problems with it.
1. It's keypad lock works even if an application is functioning...... it is uncomfortable....
2. It audio player allows only play list... not the entire songs.... It allows to have 4 play list... each having a capacity of 30 songs... i.e total 120 songs can be included in the play lists.... What we will do with other songs? Then we have rearrange songs from other playlist...
A software updation in this regard is neccessary including provisions to play entire songs.....

1. How to turn off display light while using K.D. Player, Opera & any other Java Powered Application.
2. I am also not able to minimize any Java Application.
3. How to connect it with Samsung PC Suite 3. Is this possible?? if Yes, then with which version??
Please help to solve/fix these problems. Waiting for your reply on the same.

Hi All ,
I am using D880 ( samsung dual sim ) now I am planning to buy this model.
I wanted to know is there any provision like D880 has to lock contacts, sms folders and pics etc?
In D880 you can use any 4 digit pin to lock private sms,pics ,contacts etc .
Yesterday I went to Mobile Shopee they said its at 5k along with 2 assured gifts like kodak camera , mp3 player etc . Does any one know about this ?

I have been using it for 2 months now.
+ No-nonsense dual sim phone.
+ Low price 5.2k
+ 1000+250+250 phone book size
+ Superb display. Never seen anything better.
+ Music player plays crystal clear sound
+ Voice is heard through the same stereo-quality speaker
+ Handy keypad
+ Decent battery life 3 days with minimum talking
+ Easy to switch sims by the touch of 1 button
- (Outlook and others) Sync with PC has not worked so far. Forced to use Mass storage (file upload) setting.
- Some things are strange about the user interface - I have used Nokia, Motorola and Sony before but this one has been the most difficult to get used to
- Media player interface imposes lot of restrictions
- No easy support for MS-office support (due to proprietary OS?)
- Doesnt come with pouch

I wanted to buy Samsung C5212Duos handset only for the dual sim benefit & it is a branded one. As some of my friends told it use to 'struck' if the both Sims receive incoming call, whether it is true/not. And set my problem of 'signal congestion', difficuly in Sim Management & access. Again switching over to the other sim is problematic as it has only one key(green)Other local sets have 2Keys!. Can anybody answer my querry .....Please.
Further it has 1.3Mp Cam clarity is good compared to other popular brands
