what is the difference between the spot, matrix and center-weighted under the camera>metering exposure??
i had the phone for quite some time and still cant tell the difference

If you have a Mp3 phone getting a extra battery just means you can use it without charging for over 2 x 4(+)H use of mp3 player,vid ,pic ... that s bin the game for me for a while when you receave a call with youre mp3 ring tune + video call display uses battey a litle faster
Sume Symbian OS can play mp3 or record video voice memo also take pictures and more while you are On a Call.

check the band in settings network servise band selection select the proper bands of servise provider also check if youre simcard is still valid .

This is a fantastic phone- as someone who works in the industry I hesitated obtaining this phone immediately, as I saw a lot of problems with its pre-decessor, the D500. After a couple of months of pushing these phones out of the door, I have found no problems with them at all. Not one complaint. Yes the battery is a bit average. Solution: Buy a spare. AU$30 tops.

yes yes yes ,,managed to get £110 for it and its gone i feel so less anxius now with appaling battery..not saying what phone ive replaced it with but i get 12 hrs out of the music player plus other stuff within the day and still going enuf to get me up next day and recharge at lunchtime....i got 4hrs mp3 playing and d600 flat there is a more relaxed me

sometimes your comp cannot detect your phone so youll hav 2 buy a transflash card reader if u 1 2 put stuff on your fone via memory card. or you can buy a sd/mmc card reader and get a sd transflash adapter. most card readers are detected automatically by your comp.

i just bought a d600 and i want to use it but i am so new to it can anyone help me out? i dont know how to put pics on the memory card and im looking for a card reader but i dont know where to find a usb card reader

All people asking for an opinion for a decision whether to buy D600 or not:
Yes, this phone is great, you are suggested to buy it, you will not be disappointed, you will love it.
The battery time: people there is a tip - secret for charging the battery. Start charging and keep it charging until the battery icon stops flashing, then unplug, then plug again and resume charging until it stops blinking again. Do this iteration 2-3 times, after it either it will not start charging = flashing when you plug again or it will but for a very short time. I agree this takes a little bit of your attention but in this way the battery will last for 3-4 days even if you use mp3, camera, games, etc.

Yes you can. start video clip then press number 1 on keyboard. video will go fullscreen.

Dolly, your problem should be that you never charged your phone for the recomended 18-20 hours. That's why you have you charge the phone often.

Its a dope fone but the battery is a bit of a problem and i think if the camera had no kinda screen 2 protect from scratches cos if u put on its back ur scared it mite scratch the lens.kl

I think the battery life is pretty average. I charge mine every 2 days. i maybe talk on it an hour a day and send 20 sms. when i charge it though the battery still has 1 bar.
btw, is there any way to turn off the low battery alert when it's on no bars? mine keeps on beeping at me every minute saying it's low on battery with it gets to 0 bars.
