I have bought this phone recently and am very impressed with it, especially the screen. Although there are a few things which bug me about the phone. These are:
-Unable to play MP3s in the background
-Cannot vibrate and ring simultaneously
-Cannot autosave sent messages
I think that if these options were added it would be the perfect phone.
P.S. I know that you can press send and save when sending sms's but it's ezy to forget sometimes.
P.P.S. I also know that you can set the phone to vibrate then ring, but when i do this, especially if the phone is in my draw at work, i seem to miss alot of calls.

What's all the fuss about the battery life.
Mine lasts for 2+ days on moderate use. Just charge it for 1-2 hour over dinner or at work every 1 or 2 days. There's no problems with leaving the phone on while charging. It's ok with these new lithium battereies. Battery is really a non-issue.

I have just purchased this phone and am extremely happy with it. The functions are brilliant - camera incredible high quality, mp3 playback perfect, video recording brilliant. And to answer someone's question - yes, you can play the videos in full res, and horizontal. And Yes, it comes with a USB cable to direct connection and xfer to your PC. Xfer is a little slow (about 50KB a sec) but what can you do. Very customisable and sexy. I wouldn't have any doubts about getting this phone, unless you want to wait for the D870, but i assume that is more exp, and targeted more at high end business use. As personal phones go, this phones got it all. Love the slider too!!
