I just recently upgraded to the Samsung D600.
I am ALSO experiencing problems with Battery life. Feedback from the Samsung workshop is that a 'hardware' / 'software' upgrade is necessary - even though the phone is brand spanking new!!!! Bit of a bummer really.
Sms functions suck! No auto save of sent sms's and the predictive text is terrible!
The camera & video functions are great, but these are the added extra's. The basics really need to be worked on - How about FM radio and a REMINDER service?
Had a Sony Ericcson T630 previously and was told the Samsung was WAY better. Tend to disagree there!
Jack up the basics SAMSUNG!

If I have 2 D600, is it possible to use 1 PC to connect for both?? or do I have to re-install whenever I plug in different fones?

am having a problem with my D600 batt. when i happen to overcharge the phone, the batt lasts for only about 8-10 hours!! My regular use last for 2 days. My previous phones does not have that kind of problem when i overcharge them. is it a NO-NO in D600 to overcharge it?? or the batt that i got from the package really has the problem?? HELP!

I have a D600, but my sounds for my D600 sounds like the speakers are busted? Is mine really defected or it's just my phone. I mean I compare my sound to the Ericsson K750 and mine sounds really busted. Does anybody else have this problem? And this happens especially when I set my MP3s as my ringtone. I really this answer ASAP because it's making me really mad. Thank you very much.

Ive just ordered D600 after having the D500,i like samsung phones, they have lots of little handy extras but i wish they didn't all look the same.I think its about time samsung designed something a little different, prehaps a little more girly, something like the sony w800i!! That would be cool ;0)

To Arm: You can save the message by, send and save to a map which the phone lists.
No, when you close the phone he will automatically lock, and when you opens he will unlock.
To Graham: No, you can't save your own SMS-tones, you can only save the 10 SMS-tones as a SMS-tone.
Yes, EDGE is faster then GPRS but the D600E is Tri-band and not Quad-band.
To ?: No, your phone isn't broke, he will automatically go to black screen when you close the phone. You can setup the settings for it in the Display-Options.
To ?: Press * 2 seconds and het go to ABC-mode. Atleast it works at mine.
To Ady: You can connect the phone with the delivered USB-Cable. First install the PC-Studio-3 then USB. Then open your PC-Studio-3 and then plug in the USB-Cable. If it doesn't work and a screen appears with hardware install then install it, And then it should work.

I have only had the D600 a couple days after having the D500, which I loved. Do you know how to change back to full caps when typing on predictive text? Ever time I press the * key it changers ova to 123 and then press again and it takes you back to predictive… I know it doesn’t sound much but it seems a long winded way to get caps…

Probably having 600e soon, can anyone tell me:
1) Is it true that (below) can't save SMS? sounds strange to me.
2) Is EDGE really a lot faster for GPRS - that's why I'm going for 600e but not used EDGE before.

just got my d600e yesterday - when i close it the screen goes black, unlike the d500 which showed the date and time. is it supposed to do this, or is mine broken?

How do you resize a wallpaper from your computer to fit the whole screen on the phone when set as a wallpaper? And can this be done with minimal distortion?

Respected JH / GsM^ArEnA and Darryl and other people who can help/answer:
1) Is there a way to set the sent SMS be saved somewhere rather than disappearing after being sent? If not, it is tooo stupid, hope there is ...
2) Is there another keypad locking option other than closing > locking, opening > unlocking and unlocking with keys? I mean I don't mind if there isn't, just asking and curious.
