To DJ12: the more the pixels the larger the image, which per se doesn't have anything to do with the QUALITY of the photo in the latter's strict meaning, but yes it eventually means higher quality in wider sense as the larger the SIZE of the photo the higher the RESOLUTION of the image.

well i post earlier today, but i got a few more things to add after reading a few posts....

first of all,it does suck that you cant change your sms tone..
its nice to be able to lock your msgs, many other samsungs cant do that (well most of my friends' phones at least)
the auto-lock when you slide down is very useful, especially if you have a message open and just want to clear it you slide down, and the auto-unlock is just as useful...

many people are complaining about batteries.. mine isnt bad at all...

its a good phone and i would recommend it to people who are between their teens and 20s... but yes. its got great features and im enjoying every second of it!

                              this phone kicks serious ass.

if you are having trouble with the battery life just take it back to the shop you bought it from. mine has a one year warranty so they change it imidiately.

transfer through the cable is unbelievably slow. need a usb mem card reader for this. can't wait till they release the 1gb micro sd card.

Have you guys tried listening to MP3's using bluetooth headset? What brand and model is compatible with d600 in listening to mp3 with D600? I have tried the Motorola HS820 but it only works for calls. Please guys help me.

JH. Thanks for the answers. Now I recall that I have seen the save and send option for SMS but had forgotten.

By the way, what particularly impressed me with this phone amongst other premium features like TV out, Picsel Viewer, plenty of zooming, exposure control, metering, white balance management and ISO sensitivity as well as colour effecs available with the camera, full-screen video playback, excellent quality video recording and nearly excellent photo quality, is the one of Bluetooth features which is the possibility to view the file content of the connected phone given the latter has adequate file structure, particularly you can get and even delete! files in the other phone. This is a feature I have never seen with any other phone, and as far as I know there is no other phone providing this option.

And one more thing. Earlier in one of my postings I was complaining of the poor night mode offered by this phone. But yesterday I was experimenting a little with my phone to figure out the optimal night mode camera performance and gladly identified that it is not that this camera is weak on this but it takes some skills and experience and also some experimenting to get this phone take decent pictures in night mode. This is very important as this phone has a lot of settings for taking photos and one needs to set the right combination of all or some of these settings to obtain really good pictures in night mode. I succeeded in that and would suggest anyone for whom good night mode picture taking is critical to go ahead and work it out and he/she will come up with higher than acceptable quality in night mode.

Having just purchased the D600 from Carphone warehouse i was told that i could put my own message tone on the phone, but that seems to not be the case. Does anyone know if it can be done and Samsung if you see this is there a software update available to do it as you are a long way behind the other manufacturers. More people get messages these days so that is the tone everyone wants to change. Any help appreciated.
