Batery life pretty good to me.
To whom it my concern, I bought my phone from Samstores (paid USD 512 at the time) and my batery works just fine, it goes for about 40 hrs with medium usage. Maybe a bunch of phones came out with a batery problem and the rest are fine.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep trying, maybe the problem is when I convert it from .cda to .mp3 with my windows media player ? what kind of software do you use?
It's funny, cause as I said, when I play the default ringtones and midi songs that come with the phone, it is loude enough.
BTW, what do you thing about that volume code "Teacher" posted?

about merbyn comment if its true im mad because could get no help when told people it was flat after 4 hours playing mp3s & returned it..the big thing that i was trying to explain was the heat in the battery which was abnormally high on my d600!!!when i was on my 14th charge it was on my pillow & with no lies it was hard to pick it up because the battery was so hot!it is areally good handset & mean that but now looking towards the n90 or se w900 but there again the reports are coming in of appelling battery life...i can only assume that within 1 day sum people only do a few texts and fone calls and therefore the battery will last but when there reporting up to 7 hrs taltime and things are failing at the 4hr mark & the batterys red hot it suggests that the batterys power is going to very near short circuit properties as a fault!!i really hope merbyn is true! but remember tne ipod nano & other faults,, companys dont admit to there faults but this is a great phone

Hello everyone,
I have this phone now for a month. And I love this phone everything is great. BUT The mp3 volume is ABSOLUTELY NOT louder than the d500 with speaker, even though the d600 has dual speaker. I wonder why samsung did not improve the volume?? Because if you are on the streets with this phone and you are with a couple of friends and you play an mp3, you have to hold your phone close to your head if you want to listen to the song. And that's quite annoying while you're playing mp3s because meanwhile cars are driving and people around you are talking etc etc. My point is there are so many noises around you that you really have to focus on the mp3s that's playing and that makes it quite unplaesent to listen to your songs you got on this phone. At the end of the day "dual speaker" means nothing, simple for the fact that the volume is too low. Now the samsung d500 with speaker is better with the volume (much higher volume btw.)you can hold it relax in your and listen to your mp3s.
And that's my main concern about this phone.
Can someone give me more information about this problem?? I dont listen to mp3s with the headset. Because my friends wants to listen to the songs as well.
Any information or reply is welcome.

the d600 is a very good mobile and it has alot of special features.I am going to buy it at about Lm190 which i think it is worth it to buy ...Dont care wath people say that samsung are bad....

hmmm most of the phone's that now are out, are mostly are bunch, if the older version from samsung have radio, they will remove the radio from the new radio or whatever damnz. there are always something missing. but i dunno it's my opinion.
i had a samsung e700 my screen died after 1 year, hate that bunch now..
i will see which phone i can buy..

MP3 VOLUME TOO LOW
When playing MP3 the play back volume is too low, even when I set it to high, is it just me? Does anyone have this problem too? When I play back the default ring tones they are just fine, quite loud actually. Please advise.

Spanish T9 ??????????? Anyone??? PLEASE!
Does anyone have Spanish T9 (dictionary, like for SMS messages, not to be confused with Menu language) or know where to download it from? I bought my phone from Samstores and works great but it doesn't have spanish dict. (has every other though!)

Please please if anyone has D600 answer me:
1- When sending or receiveing a file through Bluetoogh, can we see the progress bar on screen?
2- Can we connect this phone to external speaker via TV/OUT for playing MP3 ??
3- Can we put a password for any section of this phone? (if YES, for what sections? )
4- Can we install 'Windows Mobile' on this phone?? My friend has a
Nokia6630 with Windows installed on it and says me that D600 isn't
compatible with windows-mobile :((
5- Can we make folders in any section that we want??
6- Does it have 'Zoom in' option for downloaded JPG files??
