is this phone worth buying , ive heard that the bettery life is very poor and the message ringtones are really bad. Can someone tell me how long you can vidoe record for?

About the Charger:
The Batter chager provided is a travel charger, thats y is very fast... I also agree that this might be killing the battery..
I think USB charges this phone better...

There was a forum on how to upload games but i cant find it anymore. I guesss someone took it off. I didnt do it myself cause I dont really game with my cell phone, considering the battery life is short enough. Like playing mp3 through my bluetooth headset(A2DP profile) can kill my battery in a day.

1234. Thanks for the GPRS settings, Now I can go on-line with my d600.You know a lot about this phone. now i'm have a problem finding any games that support the d600.

yes there is a shortcut to camera mode, and then you press 0, and different variations of flash come on.

Malek, the d500 speaker fits but makes no difference to the volume or sound quality. Samsung r in the process of making one (i heard). I mite buy this phone.
To any1 who has it: is there a short cut key to the flash light like on the k700i, once in camera mode? on the k700i u press 5 and the light comes on, handy coming home l8 @ night. Thanks

HI All,
The phone is great but please let me know how you get external displays when you leave the phone idle like the clock and if you missed a call or recieved a text without having to press ok to check. Are these features available??????

The fact you can't view the photos in full screen is very very annoying. The main draw for me was the fact this phone had a good camara, but it winds me up everytime i go to view the pics, especially as i can see vidoes in full screen. Why do we need to see the date/time/pic name when viewing photo's ?

nice phone but i would recom you get it insur as the screens can and do got faulty but i think all in all there nice and alot better made than the d500

hi does anybody know how to get the clock as a screen saver? you know when the screen goes dark after you havent presseed anything for a while? also when it does this it doesnt show if you have a text or missed call come thru until you've slid it up? is this a fault or can it be changed?

I doubt its a software problem.
There is an 80% chance that it because we charged using the USB port.
A USB port uses 500mA current to charge the battery, while the charger goes at 700mA.
however i calculated it takes like 3-4X longer to charge to full using the USB port, while its maxed out in like lesser than 2hrs with the Charger.
SOOooo its possible that with the charger we are getting a false peak on the phone, and on a slow charge, the charge lasts longer than if we were to do a quick charge on a Li-poly battery.
In general the battery lasted abt 3 days on a slow charge on the USB, and abt 1 day on a quick charge on the charger.
The fast charge in my opinion is way TOO fast. Its hurting the lifespan of the battery. Im never going to use the charger anymore after testing it twice.

A had a battery problem, but I think i started when I put USB cable in before I had installed the drivers.. I was fooling around with samsung pc studio, and suddenly the phone restarted.. after that happend, the battery is back to normal.. I lasts up to 3 days without charging, before it would only last like 6 hours without useing it.. So most be some software problmes with with those who have battery issues..

you cant watch TV on d600, The TV can only view wat u r doing on ur phone...

The TV out does work - has 3 RCA connections which carry Video & Audio
