Has anyone else got the same problem as me? I have had my phone for two weeks now, and i fully charged my battery for 8hours like the shop told me. Then i do not leave it on to charge for more than 3. But my battery life is soooo bad. Runs out within a day. I maybe use it twice during the day to make calls, and maybe a few messages, but that is it! I dont leave my bluetooth on either! 1 day cant be right???

I still in luv with the phone. just wondering why this keeps happening. n trust me .. cloudy mode with ISO at 400 = semi night vision heehee

This hp has the best design ever. I really2 love the design. Its damn kewl, elegant and grand. Two things about this hp, the camera is not very good but I dun give a damn... hp is normally use for phone calls and msging.. camera is not very important. Another thing is that this hp cannot vibrate and produce melody simultaneously.
Despite these down sides, I still love the phone !! I cannot stop sliding the hp up and down LOL

one more thing i am not siding with any company at all ,because i think each of them has somethink to offer that the other doesnt

if d600 would of been symbian with sharps 903 camera and motos e398 speakers and panas vs7 16m screen, this would of been the phone of all the phones =) just day dreaming now... sorry

              to all
this time i will try to be as clear as i can

i like the phone from the physical perspective and that it does have some nice features such as 3d stereo speakers, 2meg camera, etc

what i do not like on it are the things that i stated before, thease issues i can deal with but it bothers me since other manufacturers can correct them while samsung did not.

now i have to tell honestly that i used to be a symbian user before, and with symbian i could easely correct anything that i didnt like with 3rd party softwares. i bought the d600 mainly for the looks, because if you would play around with an n70 you would find that it has much more options to offer and it is much faster

for everyone to be happy, this is a good phone, but it has it's minuses like anyother phone

now i would like to ask you people what do you think of the sharp 903 comparing it with the d600

                To hot

The only thing i know for sure is that Samsung D600 and Nokia 8910 are by far the most stylish and sophisticated phones i have ever seen, but i don't know how D600's performance is. Is it reliable or not? What are the major advantages and disadvantages of this phone because we read many different reviews. How is the video recording quality and videos viewing on TV?Are they clear or not?Is the phone laggy?
Do you agree with Ghita or not?
If you rate D600 what score would you give?
I want you to be honest and straight on your opinion.I know that D600 is not an ideal phone but is it worth to buy this phone or not?
On Mobile review they actually praise this phone, is it in reality that good?
The only thing i want is to have as much as possible an objective point of view.

                  To Ghita

I think that you are very unstable on your opinion for D600.If you used a wide range of mobile phones as you have said you have to be clear and state if you like or not this phone, not first say all the minuses of this phone and then say "I like this phone".If you like this phone all that things you said don't really bother you,are not so significant and you can handle with that. Are you really honest or not?
Maybe you have right for these minuses of D600 but as an owner of D500 which is an amazing phone and as i know was awarded as the best phone in 2004,i hardly believe that D600 which is an upgrade of D500 is worst. If you rate D600 what score would you give?

Just got the D600 in HKG a week ago. The unit is not launch in Singapore yet. The phone is great and well made, however the unit does not seem to have a screen saver function. Is that the same in the other unit?
I always used the clock as a screen saver as I do not wear a watch in the office. Can anyone help?

How good are close up pictures and videos since d600 doesn't have autofocus? Lots of people take pictures of themselves with or without others from arms length, that's why the mirror is near the lens right? But if ideal distance is about 8 ft without autofocus, are all such pictures from 3 feet away or so terrible? And is the automatic flash sufficient to get decent pictures/videos close up in dimly lit bars or clubs? Someone said recorded video inside wasn't good but with night mode and/or the flash kept on like a flashlight would it be sufficient for quality video in dimly lit indoor conditions? Why are all the sample photos in reviews like gsmarena taken outdoors in bright sunlight and from perfect distance or in unrealistic situations like total pitch blackness? How about a few dimly lit indoor photos for a change, or more photos from arms length, since that's what people use these for in the real world?

The sony ericssons are better at playing mp3's, have customisable message tones, better at sending mms (d600 cant resize photos) sony ericsson have radio, better battery life and better phonebook menu layout. Also automatically saves sent texts and has a fast texting system.
Samsung D600 has better bluetooth stability, better screen, better calender and better external speakers.
And i own both phones, work in a phone shop and nearly enough every single other person there agrees. Oh yeah and also the sony ericsson has photo id for messages as well as phone calls.
Like i said as mobile phones go both are good, but se make all round better devices. And for the person who said se are unreliable, do you have any idea how many samsung phones we send away for repair with white screens? and guess what, peoples phone numbers are usually saved to phone and they can't be copied to sim from the d600 or d500. So they can be pains in the ....

I bought my 512MB MicroSD memory stick on EBay for $70. It included a memory card reader for my computer. This makes putting songs on the card MUCH easier. I have 150 songs on it. It took about 3 minutes with the reader!

Does this phone has the ability to customize the alert type of the ringtone, sms tone and mms phone separately? I mean, for example having your call alert be on vibra mode while the sms alert would on an ordinary tone (preset or downloaded)without vibra, or the sms alert be on vibra mode while the mms and call alert tone is not on vibra mode. Pls. answer my doubts for i am considering this phone. It should have this feature because other samsung models has this capability.

Nokia and SonyEricsson phones do not have this feature.

                                      To ghita,

I agree with you that all phone needs to be improved even the latest phones in the market today. There no such things as perfect phone. However, going to your opinion wherein i reacted,is just that you are confusing everybody. You said that the video of the d600 is not good when takin inside while then you said that it is exceptional when taken outside. Sure, indoor videos are somewhat dull or not so good and that is true even to the professional video cams because you really have to supply a lighting to get and excellent video, unlike with the still photos wherein you have already the flash. Videos of the D600 is sure incredible and that is D600 edge among it's competitor. Second you mentioned that D600 is a freakin phone while you then stated that it is a nice phone. What is with the statement ghita? It seems you wish that this phone has not come out in the market. Be firm and straight on your opinion so that nobody will get you wrong.

I do not have anything against the NOKIA, SE,MOTOROLA and others on their phones, it is just that the users of these phone are feakin out, i mean really, misguiding and then praising.

Personally, I recommend all the latest phones which ever justifies our expectation, if you have the money. I strongly recommend also the D600 becuase simply it is one of a kind phone with special feature no other phone has, you know what i mean and it is awarded as the "PHONE OF THE YEAR", reviewed and selected by experts from a prestiguious award giving body. I do not think that these experts gave this award for no reason at all,I know they have the criterea and the guidelines otherwise this award should have been given to other phones.

Good Luck on choosing your phone. Thanks.
