where can we find free games for d600, what else can the 4mb of dedicated java memory be used for? chess, pacman, tetris, are these games available free for d600? what about free themes? do d600 owners carry earphones around wherever they go, how good are they and how good are the d600 speakers, are speakers good enough for listening to music without earphones?

I don't know how some people got the nerve to say w800i is better in playing mp3s.
You got samsung's Dual speaker vs ericsson's MISERABLE mono speaker (which plays not loud as the d600). You do the math.
Or you guys are really d600 haters.

it will be very hard for you to swich from a smart phone to a regular one, i would suggest to go for a symbian phone as well

look man, try to test the phone as i did, go through all the issues mentioned and you will find that they are true. i like the phone dont get me wrong but it still needs to be inprooved. as i said if you dont have other phones to compare it with dont post these silly coments that i do not own it or something.
for all you other users out there that have access to various phones please do report your findings abouth d600 on the issues that i have mentioned
and "hot" if you want to feel better, i did play around with k750 and w800 and i do not think that they are better, except in taking photos and listening to mp3's

Dear all,
Planning to buy Samsung D600????
Recently i am using a SE P900 & been using it for more than a year. The reason to change. Need somethings fresh & small.
Ok actually now i am planning to change to this Samsung D600. But after read the review from Ghita & i felt a bit worried on it.
You know as i am a PDA phone user & i would like a get a better performance,fast & good funtion phone.
I need an adviser. Can anyone tell me : )

i think the samsung is a great fone, i just purchased it yesterday and i love it already . I just need help with getting mp3 files onto my phone i dont know how to do it :( so if anyone could help me that would be fantastic.

Hi guys,
The critics of the D600 are going desperate and insecure specially the SE users because they go to the smallest details of the D600 just to say something bad against the D600 which are not always true. Well bad for them because they cannot accept the fact that the D600 is the leading phone in the market right now.

I know you are not talking about samsung d600 because i am sure you do not own one or you cannot afford one. Your opinion refers to your present phone which i believe not a SAMSUNG HITECH PHONES.
ghita, get real, you don't have to be a liar just to prove your point. You cannot put a great phone down.
SAMSUNG PHONES are great and it is the envy of the mobile world.

surely a firware upgrade can improove the features of this phone, lets just hope that samsung will do this
the phone does not have any physical minuses that would bother me but the main problems are:
1) viewing pictures on tflash is extremely slow, it is ridiculous, you have to wait couple of seconds for one picture to load
2) video recording is terible inside, although outside it is amazingly good, samsung should allow us to change the iso value manualy for video rec as well
3)battery life is terrible if you use the phone as mp3 player it will hardly last for a couple of hours if use the mp3 player often
this opinion is based on coparing the phone to moto e398 which lasted for 24h with frequent usage of the mp3 player
4)the zoom on the camera is also very bad, it zooms slowly compared to nokia 6630 which has a very smooth zoom
5) that pixel viewer is a joke if used on the cell, on tv screen it makes sense, but on the cell screen the documents are so small that you would have to zoom about 5 times to clearly see what it talks about
6) reception is not that good compared with se and nokia
... you know i own this freaking phone and i just realized how bad it actually is compared to nokia n70,
as a consumer and someone with a lot of experience in this phone business, i would not recomend it to people who want a high tech phone, atleasta not untill samsung fixes all the problems posted above
for those who keep insisting that this is the best phone, please first use other phones and try to compare them and dont just state that this phone is the best
unfortunatelly i also listened to those who got charmed by the phone at first site but did not actually test it, if i had achance to play with it before i would of not bought it
these opinions are all personal and i am not suggesting that you should not buy the phone if you like it buy it cause it is indeed very nice but still needs work

To be realistic if the D600 is a great phone that means that advantages overrule disadvantages.If a phone is great that means it's worth the money.The only point i want to state is that to have as much as possible an objective point of view you must say(especially for those who have D600) ONLY the major advantages and disadvantages of this phone and clarify them so everyone of us can choose to buy or not this phone because we read many different and uncertain reviews.

How many minutes of highest quality video/sound can d600 record from internal memory?
I assume d600 doesn't have a standard 2.5/3.5mm jack, but is there a samsung handsfree stereo headphones with integrated radio that can be bought separately? I think samsung makes such a headset with radio but only for standard 2.5/3.5mm plug which d600 DOESN'T HAVE, what's that about? Are there ANY headphones that fit d600's jack other than the ones included?
Anyone found any 512mb tranflash memory cards?

hey, se menu has a low response because it is very dragging and guess what, picture messaging is an old technology because it is based on ems but todays trend is MMS. Unlike D600, you have everything and why bother for a radio when you have mp3 player?
I believe SE phones are not reliable as a phone itself but as a mulimedia device basing on the opinion below.

this is the most unbiased opinion i can possibly offer. I was a user of a sony ericsson k750i for a good few months. Then i decided to purchase a d600, what can i say i got caught in the hype from reading these pages. The phone as a mobile phone is very good, call quality and signal strength seems to be no bother. But, no radio (a big downside to me.) Camera is not as good as sony ericssons ie no auto focus. Texting on the d600 is very slow, i'm not that fast a texter but it can't keep up with me. When sending a pic message the phone doesn't resize the pic, that gives you 2 options 1. take low res photos 2. don't send picture messages. Unfortunately as well with the samsung you cannot change themes, you're stuck with what you have which can get boring. If you want a mobile for mainly calling and the odd text, then no bother this is a good phone. Otherwise if you want a multi-media device/mobile phone chose a sony ericsson.

After using the w800i for a week i got me this d600... AND I LOVE IT ffs :>
thank god i got rid of that ugly orange ****er.
