Sarah: I droped my E715 off a 3 story building and it survived. lol. Was so scared at the time, but atleast it lived to let me talk another day. Reason why it fell, poped out of my belt clip while i was moving stuff. When it fell it was like a slow motion movie. But for the D600, i protected my investment with importgsm.com's life-time guarantee where they will replace my unit for free as long as i can recover the unit and the imei number. So if i drop it, throw it in the water, etc i get a new one.. woot woot. goooo importgsm.com

Vincent: If you stored number on the phone you instead of on the simcard you should be able to group the numbers together and put the video caller id or its own unique ring tone for that group. Im assuming your trying to do this. Atleast thats how my D600 works.

        ron: never noticed that.

unknown: "Getting a lemon" means you just got a bad unit out of all the manufactured units.

D.Po: I believe its two, but cant seem to find the red one. Even though I didnt try because i like the black one better.

Had the Samsung d600 for a week now. Its a great phone! - Down sides can't have it vibrating AND ringing at the same time, there is no autoslide feature, battery life is not gr8 but if you really want a decent battery life - u are better off buying most nokias! Your sent texts can be put into a folder as long as you choose the option wen u are sending it. It is a sexy phone - and after having the V3 for a year its a nice change. The menu is well layed out. Its pretty easy to get used to. Only thing there is no cover for it - so im craddling mine like a little baby - for fear of my dreaded clumsiness. Samsung are not renowned for their phones durability- u drop it and it will smash the screen!!! The SAR rating is at 0.5 which is not bad for a Samsung. The headphones quality are great - havent loaded many mp3 s yet but the ones that i have sound great and the user interface is pretty cool for mp3 player. I would give this phone 4/5! Great phone - but read somewhere that this phone will be outdated within months - which you may say could be true of all phones - but i know that there are some pretty cool nokias coming out in their N range. There is even a model out in spring that will have a 6 MP camera! So it depending on what your looking for. X

Great phone!! Not really too much different from the D500 though, still definately worth the free upgrade i obtained and I also get to keep the fone after 12 months!! so a great free fone, features are great, camera is great etc etc, only shame really is that the battery runs out very quickly, probably because of the sheer amount of work the phone has to do to keep you satisfied!! Great phone non-the-less!!

                          Hello
Got this fone last Friday.I absolutely love this fone! The sliding action is gr8!The photos are quite good and i love the TV output.the only down point is the battery that doesn't last that long especially when i listen mp3, but i guess it cant have all those great features and a longlasting battery.i just want to know if you can view the photos in full screen?
                          Thanx

I think getting a non-lemon D600 depends on the luck of the draw. Make sure the company has a good return policy or warranty program. I bought mine from importgsm.com for 480USD + 50USD for life time warranty. This was before they realized they messed up on the price and changed it to 599.99. They still sold me the phone and I haven't had a problem with it. They also have a good life time guarantee program that seems great.

I've seen the color red on certain sites, but I never seen it for sale. In my opinion, the black looks really nice.

I have been searching for the cheapest price which is 537 USD from Plemix. Other sellers are more than 600USD. Will both products be the same? I wonder why the price is so much cheaper. Is it safe to buy from plemix?
I have another questions how many colors are there for this phone? I notice that red color is also available.

Its a solid build. When you get it, you will go wow.

                                upsides
-clear and loud speaker(in my opinion, not using it the clubs or anything but its loud enough)
-build is nice. The back part of the phone uses a rubbery plastic texture.
-1.2 bluetooth with A2DP profile that allows use of those new cool stereo bluetooth headsets
-piscel software is pretty cool. I store birthdays, list of programs & movies i have, and D600's manual
-t-flash is great, showing off to people how small the card is wonderful. Seeing peoples face going what is that.
-quad-band is nice to have too

                                downsides
                                -no autofocus for camera
-cant play mp3 in the background
-no time shown in standby mode(i can live w/o)
-no customized sms tones(i can live w/o)
                                -no flashlight

basically if you looked at what they focused on, its basically a business phone. If you want a phone with a camera with autofocus and dedicated mp3 setup. go for k750i/W800. Too bad its a bar phone with a older generation bluetooth.

If you want a phone with a really good camera around the same level as these bad boys, go for a sharp 903. 3.2 megapixel camera + 3x OPTICAL ZOOM. Software build isnt that good

If you want a phone thats like a razr combined with a D600. Go for the Samsung T809. Too bad its like a 1.3 megapixel camera.

If you want a W800 but dont like bar phones, wait for the W900. Its a swing phone with 512 internal memory, 30fps video, about the same camera as k750i. Too bad its like a brick.

WOW! it seems like a lot of people are having problems with this phone. I've been thinking of buying one but reading all these problem's changing my mind. Can some please give me your honest opinion. Is it worth $600 dollars. I don't wanna get a phone that's full of glitches and bugs.

Dunc: Try reinstalling the Drivers and the program.

Vicente: Try storing the phone numbers to the phone first, then you can place them into groups with out any errors. Thats how mine works.

Frank plank: when you set your ring tones. The top should say default melodies. Press left and you can access the MP3's. Remember though, the music must be on the phone and not the T-flash card.

Ste: Mine goes on a stand by that makes the phone looked like its turned off if thats wat your talking about. Other than that, you prob got a lemon. A lot of people got lemons from wat i read. Videos crashes the phone, Auto shut offs, random crap like that.

juan: search howardforums.com someone posted something on how to install games on D600 i think. They said something how the games wont display correctly though. Its either that or they havent figured out how to install it on the D600 yet. Give them a month or so.. someone will figure it out.

David: I believe they did this to save battery. Thats just a guess, but i think this is one of the most retarded thing. Doesnt bother me as much cause i always wear a watch. What i wish they has was the ability to have a torch/flashlight. My e715 had it, and i figure D600 would have it since the camera is on the outside instead of the inside(D500 having it on the inside).
