Further to my earlier comments...tv output is poor quality, but ud expect it to be. When texting there are no " or ' symbols anywhere!...if anyone finds them let me know. And i'm running windows 98 on my pc, the software disc is for xp and 2000, it looks like its loading ok but doesnt. The software wont start. The Samsung website says the software can be downloaded from there to run with win 98 but that wont download correctly either. Am I doing something wrong? Would a bluetooth dongle transfer my music files or wud I be better using a transflash card reader? Any help would be appreciated.

I got mine from phones 4 u in redditch more impressed than i thought i would be sounds really really good cam really gr8 lots of nice little touches ,, tv output is crap though just a gimic !

panasonic beats w800i camera and d600, and cheaper, and does virtually the same while being RELIABLE

Just to add further, the battery on the phone was full charged, as I charged it after unpacking the phone. Now it won't respond when put the charger in, so it could also be the battery.

Watch out for this the rest of you newbie D600 owners, a Problem has shown up on my D600, the phone has switched itself off and now when I press the power button the start up screen appears then immediately after the shutdown screen appears and the phone goes off again. Looks like a software Bug so it’s back to the store I go.

When will Samsung FINALLY give us a phone with voice dialling so that we can make PROPER use of the bluetooth?
Makes my blood boil because(IMA)it spoils an otherwise great handset! Ah well....back to Nokia!

Phones4U DO sell them at £299.95, however, it seems to vary from each store.
My local branch - "no, not without contract."
I also phoned about 6 branches in central London and they said the same thing. BUT I actually went to the store on Tottenham Court Road and got one for £299.95.

If u are lukin for samsung d600 an u cant find ne in stock try www.play.com they got it for £369.99 sim free and its free delivery! i wish o2 wud hurry up and release it im waitin for my upgrade but dnt want to get a differnet one coz i no they will bring it out ryt after i get my nu one! hope this has helped sum1!

omg i want to marry this phone.......
they sell it at importgsm.com as a preorder and im gonna get it from them, i was gonna get he e730 but this one has 2mp and a memory card wich is awsome!

Got my d600 (sim free) yesterday from cpw for £350. P4u refused to sell me a sim free phone at the "advertised" price.
Previously had a E800...this phone is a hell of a leap forward
picture quality is terrific...audio quality is superb by my pc only runs win98 which means I have to download the relevant software..the supplied disc only covers win2000 and xp.
drs comments about ur finger covering the camera lens are spot on..that will take a bit of getting used to!
All in all a terrific phone.

D600 Owners have you tried the Sonic Wellness thing under file manager then music. The only thing I can think its for is some Stress relief.

Sorry Correction:
i said " 3/You can NOT copy contacts from ur phone to the sim card, ONLY from the sim card to your phone"
What i ment was if u want to copy ALL your contacts from the phone memory to the sim card you can only do that 1 by 1, but you can copy ALL your contacts from the sim card to the phone memory at once
