This is simply the best phone ever made by Samsung. Look at the new phone made by Samsung now. D900, E900, U600, yes, they are better looking phone than D600, but looked at the complains that flooded in. Cheap plastic, sensetive touch pad. Arrgh.. I am glad to have this phone. =)

this phone is the greatest phone i have ever owned, i,ve alredy had two , the only thing that you could possibly want more from it is 3g, and fm stereo, but this is no problem since all the other great features easily make up for the short comings

yeah, i knew you're pinoy because of the "hehehe" on the end of your message with most filipinos do put on text messages..

well. samsung phones aren't popular here in the phils as that of nokia because most, or all of their phones have the value above Php4,000.

unless you'll buy a second hand.

I may say D840 is better than E900

most people say they have problems with it.

mostly the the touch buttons and the camera.

D840 is somewhat like D900 though, not so solid built, but if you want a sturdy phone, go for E900 if ever you don't have any options left.

sir michael nice to have a fellow pinoy using a d600

sad to say seems that samsung phones arent very popular here....or is that a good thing also? since not alot of people know samsung phones they dont know which is actually old or which is new, making samsung phones have more resale value than nokia and se phones ei? hehehe

hope you'd find a place where they can install such an application or at least

                  a hack heheheh

Hi guys. I am a big fan of Samsung phones. I have D600 and Z540 now and I love them so much. My last phone was D900 but it got problem with screen (it suddenly goes off and not come back until I restart the phone) and sliding mechanism (not as solid as I think, because it gets move after 3 days) and I gave the phone back and bought my D600. Now I want to buy another Samsung phone. It will my third phone so it is not important for me camera or battery performance. I want to have a solid, good quality and very good looking phone. Which one do you prefer D840 (silver metallic edition) or E900? I will be very happy to hear your opinions. Have a nice day to everyone.

                          Becky

D500 dont have a memory card slot so they have to put extra memory space.

Since D600 has a card slot, they lessened the phone memory for us to use the memory card's memory.

                            carloud

                            yeah, i think so

the default mp3 player is not capable of multitasking, but i think some installable can, like my old 6600, it doesn't have a built in mp3 player so they have to install and, yes, it can multitask.

il try to find some shops here in the philippines where they can install mp3 player on samsung phones that is capable of it.

though most don't do it with samsung phones, which made me think that samsung phones seem so special, eh?

my D600e is still the best phone i handed. im using it since 3Q of 2005. i dropped it a couple of times, still no prob.

What I want to know is, why is yhe memory on this phone not as good as the D500? This doesn't make sense to me!

                                      I was wondering

could we possibly implement a "living world" feature a la d900?

                                      or something similar?

                                      looks cool heheheh

ey thanks for the reply sir michael hehehe

btw about multitasking I heard theres a hack which enables the d600 to play mp3's and do use other applications at the same time

bt by default yeah I guess the d600 isnt capable...or should I say...it's default U.I. restiricts it's multitasking capabilities

thats the only downside of it however....
