hey guys.. I was wondering if anyone could help me out.. I just saw this phone for the first time and it looks great I dont mind the battery that doesnt have a big capacity and the memory is good enough for me.. I just wanna know what you think is best.. Nokia 6280? Samsung D600? or Samsung Z700? Also if you have any idea how much they each cost aproximatelly it would be a great help.. Thanks

Lisa, before you even resort to contradiction, I want to confirm you that the comment you posted below is 99% fabrication. Bluetooth was first developed by research team of IBM and Intel. So plz don't come up with distorted facts making a fool out of yourself.
As far as I have concerned, this site is often visited by entourage of Sonyericsson fans that consecutively reiterate the same bullsh** without any basis. I hear 'em screamin' everyday, "Samsung suks, K750i rulez!"

Yes sony ericsson might be better than samsung in some ways i agree. I am a big sony ericsson fan but this is very good for samsung. Sony ericsson was the first cellular company to bring out Bluetooth, with the T68I but samsung has very quickly caught up on the tecknology.

From Mobile-Review.com
-------------
When we tested the device in Moscow, it worked for about 3 days in case of 50 minutes of talks and up to 20 minutes of using other functions (alarm clock, camera, organizer). Using Bluetooth permanently decreases battery life to only one day (30 minutes of talks and up to 25 minutes of using other functions). To tell the truth, it's hard to discharge the battery in a day, even those speaking much on the phone will stay pleased. Generally, battery life will probably form 2-3 days for the majority of users. Recharging the battery will take about 2 hours.

Talktime is 3 hours, not the entire battery life! Jeez.

Well, all we have to do is wait and see.
I don't belive that the battery will last for only 3 hours.. If it does.. It's a BIG BIG mistake. I don't think Samsung is making that mistake after delaying the release date until now.
I hope they did something to the batteries.

coming from the nokia 6630 which has a 3hr talktime this looks like i wont end up buying it.Will have to see real reports.its always a shame when theres 1600milliamp batterrys out there and lithium polymers and most of the top 5 mobile companys put silly batts in.Panasonic have done it and my last 2 s/e were lithium polymer with 16 day 12-16 hour talktimes,,maybe ive missed something over the past 6 yrs of buying mobiles but price cant be the issue and they are small enough and light. They come out with some great fones like the d600 and let it down with batt,,all the features have increased mainly screen etc but they forget to balance the battery consumption and there the expert engineers.

I think that this phone looks amzing. The specs for it a outstanding. It has a 2 mega pixel camera with flash. A high quality screen a Mp3 player and bluetooth , but I still think that the Sony Ericson k750i is still better.

A few things i d like to clarify...
first, I love Samsung Phones (quality, design...)
I have a D500 a K750 and i m selling phones every day so i have tested every Samsung phones (E530, Z500, Z140, E620....)
and i just think that there are very few innovations on each new phones (not to say none...) besides the nice screen and the TV out plug D600 presents nothing new compared to other phones on the market (they are always the last to put new technologies on the high end phone (see bluetooth...)
Again Samsung phones are really great, I still love my D500 but i just think that it was outdated when it came out and think that the D600 will soon be outdated too.

amen, i've seen those 2'0 inch QVGA screens, and it just makes you mezmerized, and u keep staring at the screen screamin' "holy sh**! how can they put so many dots (pixels) into the screen!"...the difference between D600 QVGA and SONYERICSSON S700 QVGA is that they have DIFFERENT SIZES!! Samsung D600 = 2 inch QVGA///// SONYERICSSON S700 = 2.4 inch QVGA. And if your smart enough to realize that Samsung QVGA is much more vivid and clear, cuz those pixels are tightly squeezed into the 2'0 inch screen, whereas S700 or Panasonic phones have larger QVGA which means LESS CLARITY THAN D600.
D600 doesn't have crippled MP3's, you can even download lyrics and OGG files...it has real equilizer which compensates the sound output thru earphones, besides holds 2nd place in MP3 market (apple #1)...the mp3's you hear thru the phone doesn't loose any kilo bytes p/s playbacks unlike nokia phones, ex) When 128 kbps mp3 is played thru nokia phone, its playback is waned to 122 kbps.
So y'all Samsung haters shud stop givin' false information, and making freudal attempts to deter as much as people from buying Samsung mobile phones.
