ppl who never saw a QVGA screen will never know what I'm talking about. When watching a movie on ur screen or watching photos on ur screen it's a huge advantage. Ppl around you will go like "WOW!" And how do you know if the mp3 on D600 sux?
In the review it says it doesn't have much difference with k750 or other phones.
And about the picture quality I already said.
I'm getting tired of this.. saying what I said again and again.. geez
I'm not trying to slate down k750 but u guys who keep say k750 is better than D600 in this forum.. get a life.
I won't buy a phone with such a small screen and a LOW resolution.
When buying a phone, besides it making a phone call the second important thing is entertainment. k750i only has the fun of taking pictures and listening to music.. which. But it's not as good as the digital camera or a mp3 player. Ofcourse it's a phone. But D600 has EVERYTHING. Camera, mp3, and movie on a HIGH quality screen. You can also have the fun of surfing the internet becuz it has the picsel viewer.
Again, k750 and D600 cannot be compared.
k750 lacks too many features.

i think it's allready outdated and samsung menus sux ( no themes, can't put MP3 as an sms tone nor as a waking up tone...)

I've seen photos taken by the D600 they re noisy and pretty much blurred...

Those who compare the k750 with the D600 are right the k750 is much more customable and it does really beautiful photos ( i only use the k750 to take my daylight photos...) Autofocus, macro mode auto white balance... And of course you can do everything with your own MP3s (SMS, Wake up..). And i can keep my K750 charged up a week just using phone calls and photos.

Ok there is no TV out on the SE but do you think you can watch anything else than photos on a TV screen ? And remember it's not a real inovation (Sharp 902...) and it's crap.

Just my 2 copper... And yes i have a K750 and i will have a D600 for it's design but for the rest i keep my SE!

I understand what your saying pal but T.V output on a phone!!! Its a bit much don't you think.

To everyone else

I get really annoyed with some people who slate other phones on forums. If people have an opinion on a handset then have your say but don't compare to other phones and have a go about it. I may have expressed myself strongly in the past and for that i apologise for this, especially to noname and bob but please don't slate a phone just cos it does not have the same specs as the phone you like. all phones are different and thats why we have a choice out there. The N91 is better in some ways to a D600 and not in others so there is no comparison really which is what i have tried to say in the past. If you don't like nokia then fine, choose and alternative. Freedom of choice. Simple as that. I will stick with the N91 but if it fails to deliver then a D600 is the next port of call. Thats my choice.

It's a great phone! for me it's better than SE K750i because D600 has useful features like EDGE and TV/OUT.
Tell me! viewing videos,pictures,and narrating an Microsoft Powerpoint presentation on a large TV ...wow....can the K750i provide such gr8 features other than a good mp3 player and a good picture quality? NO! it can't
Moreover, if u are not satisfied with the D600's built in 3D speakers or it's headset,you can connect the phone's AUDIO/OUT cables into any of your BIG external speakers!(unfortunately u can connect only to 2.1 speakers)
It's logical.Music on big external speakers always sound better! so u don't have to be disappointed by the D600's built in speakers(good enough for a basic cell phone)!
Very few smartphones and PDAs posses this feature! remember! Samsung D600 is NOT a smartphone NOR a PDA! What more can you expect from a NON-smartphone/PDA?
i'm not discouraging you guys to purchase SE K750i but just telling one useful feature of the D600 which makes it superior!
This phone has only 1 con! n thats the charge power!
On the whole,i agree with my previous reviewers(Froggy,No Name)that you cannot give such a nice phone a negetive comment! because of its lack of standard mp3 player and photo quality!

To ppl who are keep saying k750i is good.
Plz don't say anything stupid.. Who would go for a k750i instead of D600? The only reason to go for the k750i is becuz D600 is not out in the market yet. Stop saying that k750i is a better than D600, becuz IT IS NOT.
Just like someone below said.. D600 and k750i cannot be compared becuz k750i is a old phone and D600 is new with much better specs. K750i was a good phone years ago, I admit that but not anymore.
The ONLY thing k750i is better is the camera. But D600's camera does not suck. When you compare the two phone's camera they barely have any differences. They both are good for a phone. But why does it matter?? Are trying to make an ART out of the crappy phone camera?? The use of the camera phone is to take pictures of your friends and places where you travel. Not to make an ART out of it.. So don't be stupid.

I don't understand one thing.Why are many commenting negetive on this cell phone before they have used it? it has not been released yet!
I agree that many previous Samsung cell phones gave a dissapointing performance! but it does not mean that in every release of their new models,they will repeat the same mistake!
This phone is good but why it's talk time is only 3hrs?it should had been at least 6hrs for a better performance!more over it doesn't have a pic. editing software like the SE K750i has.
Though the D600 does not posses the above two,i will still purchase it after its release.

I just added the link below for getting the phone through Vodaphone for L334.95. Has anyone heard any distribution plans for the States. It'll work just buying it and using it, but I'd rather get a discount by going with Cingular which utilizes the 850 mhz they now use after taking over AT&T Wireless network.

to tell you the truth there is no point waiting this is really annoying waiting on release dates on mobile phones the samsung d600 said it was ment to be coming out on early august well still waiting.looks like this phone will be out whene its ready i supose

as i heared all samsungs has very poor sound quality (mp3 player)! this phone doesnt have autofokos - that causes crapy photoes!
this phone is allready in my countro but i ll not buy it jus because of good scree - i need and other funcions. sr for a bad eaglish.

im not waiting till september because as soon as september comes they will start saying its not coming out intill november, they started saying it was going to be out in march and now we are in augest!ill just have to get this phone on my next upgrade.
is there any point in waiting????

It's really a shame that samsung is so unreliable with it's release dates....

And for the people who clame that the K750 is not as good as the D600, please consider the fact that the K750 is avaible for a while already. You cannot compare phones as long as it is not sure when it will be availble on the market, because the extent of the technology decreases through time... Therefore, now I think SE is the one with the highest technology and not Samsung.....

Samsung releases a phone with almost simular features (except for the screen) like maybe 3, 4 months later......

PS I would really love to buy the D600. When will it be avaible in West-EU

It would be the best phone if you could buy the stupid thing. Samsung's losing millions by bad performance. I've read dates from last March until this Christmas without a damn comment from Samsung. Poor business performance at best.

i think it'a a great phone, but for the fact that it doesn't have infrared port
i believe that it'a a important feature that it's missing.
another feature that is missing is the radio.
if those 2 features would be present, i believe this phone would be the most complex pphone on the market.

what are you talking about..
k750 is not smaller than D600.
They're both similar in size but D600 is smaller.
I don't think comparing k750 and d600 is right becuz D600 has way better screen resolutions with bigger screen (2 inch!)
This feature alone can knock out most of the phones out in the market.
Ofcourse the most important thing is that it's all in one.. BEST screen, 2MP camera, BEST video recording in the market, mp3, bluetooth, picselviewer... etc.
It's hard to find a phone with having both those great features and the SCREEN.

K750I is better cause it has 9hours talk time battery and its smaller and its can support a mem stick pro up to 2gb
