Some of the features changed since then.
EDGE and 3D sound was not included and radio probably was added to the feature.

It looks like a really impressive phone but i have one question... Is this going to be like other samsungs and have a camera shutter sound that cannot be turned off. This is my main complaint about Samsung phones.

The D600 is definitely coming out on the 1st of August so everyone should just be patient. I have inside sources from Samsung and he never lies!

No memory card included, but they are not expensive. About USD$60 for 512Mb and of course those prices are always getting cheaper and the cards bigger.
Ryan where did you see it has radio?
The colours are all bad in those photos!

does any1 know the capacity of its memory card? is it included? coz all i saw was the 90mb shared memory, which means its in the phone. was wondering if it included the memory card and whats the memory capacity of it? im trying to see whether to wait for this or buy the sony ericsson k750. so far, the only thing that is not present here is the radio. but this has edge. lol!

Yes I've seen those before. As you can see the photos are blurry, bad handling of light, and very poor colour. My 2 megapixel camera from 4 years ago took very nice photos, far superior to this. I always keep my 7 megapixel camera in my pocket next to my phone, and never use a phone for a camera.
For photo caller ID, or video caller ID, you can either use the phone to take a photo or transfer them from a better source. I think the quality is ok for the caller ID functions, although I still won't do that (I'll transfer good photos from my camera or PC to the phone).

Well Samsung manufacture everything from phones to TVs to MP3 players to Laptops. I would expect the sound to be quite good.
The sound on the production models should be better than that test unit as well.

hi bob.i recently mailed the reviewer of the d600 review in mobile-review.com regarding the phone.because iam particularly concerned about the sound quality,i asked him whether the sound quality is better than nokia 6230 or not.
and he replied saying that both are same.

I'm assuming now that 850 mhz has also been included that it'll be launched by the American carriers as well. Has anyone heard anything about which carriers will carry the D600?

Still expect mid August.
Price around USD$500, more in the UK, and less in Asia. Should be able to get less than $400, but not necessarily in the opening weeks.
