i love this phone its so cool !.. im hopeing to get one for my birthday witch is in september, does anyone know if it will be out by then? and has anyone got a idea of prices or where i could get one cheapish(witch is a silly question because there new so i dout i could get one cheap)if your could get back to me, that would be cool, thx xxx

Samsung D500 is the coolest phone ever, I should know I have one & I've changed to so many cellphones. the D500 has won an award for cellphone of the year 2005. Now imagine wot the D600 will get.

I'm the proud owner of a Samsung D500. I'm satisfied with the phone's memory camera and other options and i think that the new samsung D600 will be almoast twice as good as the D500 wich was proclaimed the best phone of the year 2005. I hope that the new D600 will havemore options than the D500 and that the people from Samsung straighten out the card slot the mp3 player's rewind ability and a better way for the owner to view movies for example an option similar to the Full Screen option of the Nokia 6630. If theese minor setbacks are dealt with, then in my opinion the new D600 should be proclaimed the world's best phone for the year 2006.

Yeah as the guy said below, i really hope this phone gets out ATLEAST at mid august. Don't you kinda think that this phone looks just like the D630? Check it out on the samsung screen on this website below the D500. Its just a minor difference. I DOUBT that this is gonna be one of dem cheap phones...

Anyway this phone has MPEG codec which can play video clips not only in MPG-4 format. Of course, it doesn't support DiVX or AVI but still, MPEG player? That's mighty tempting...

France Telecom offers glasses to view films on mobile phones
In reply to sceptics who think cell phone screens are too small to watch a movie, France Telecom's R&D department have come up with a pair of Micro Optical glasses, developped with Essilor International, a leading maker of ophthalmic optical products and supplies, particularly corrective lenses.
Hooked up to Samsung's SGH-D600 handset, Orange Wireless subscribers will be able to view films selected from Orange's film catalogue through their glasses. Launch date is scheduled for October 2005.
