I bought a D600E last Christmas (2006) I really love the phone itself but I have just one nagging problem....yes, the battery I got 2 batteries with the phone and they are no good...can someone please tell me where I can purchase a new one or what can I do about the ones I have. I turned off the Bluetooth, I dont think I use the phone a lot and the battery still does not last I have to travelling with both batteries and the charger. I am currently searching for somewhere in the US (online) where I can buy a battery...does anyone know where online I can do so.

                It is not true thath D600 doesn't support memory cards up to 512 MB. My old X700 is working fine with SanDisk 1 GB, so D600 too. If the card is not from SanDisk then there may be problems with it.

                  5ushi,
                  firmware on this one is D600BWEI2. Bought it in February last year in the UK. First I bought only a 512MB, but when I got my TyTN I've started using a 1GB card for both... and it works! :) Any questions, you can email me.

                    Also, does anyone have any problems with their Picsel Viewer? I trialed the Samsung English D600 PDF instruction manual (from samsung.com global download centre), and my phone displays 2 pages properly, and says: Document may be truncated. Then, the rest of the pages (around 120) is white (blank)... Can everyone test this out to see whether this instruction manual works on their D600? If this works for someone, can you tell me your firmware (instructions below....)?
                    Thanks.... :]

                      to fellow...
                      Geez, my D600 only takes upto 512MB. I noted that the Samsung Mobile UK site saying that max 512MB Micro SD card is supported...and that's for all Samsung phones (even the newer ones.) I live in New Zealand and purchased this phone from a importer. My D600 is from Indonesia... I replaced the firmware to the D600XAEIA after some problems... Can you (the fellow who can use 1GB card) tell me your firmware? (press *#1234# in idle mode...)

                        to 5USHI,
                        sorry, mate! what you say about this phone just isn't true: I've got a 1GB sandisk transflash memory card in my D600 and it works great.

                            hello if you want to buy a d600 go ahead this phone is a really good fone worth the price aswell. the onli dis for the phone is the battery life. make sure bluetooth is alwayz switched off and only switched on when needed also listening to mp3 and playing java games eats the battery life quicker. sound quality is great when talking on the phone camera is great and video function is awesome aswell... i own a d600 myelf and i reckon its a good phone for a normal consumer :)

                              hello yes your are true on the battery life part.... i think the phone itself uses too much power... and it is 100% safe to use the 1gb but make sure it is micro and scandisk brand...

                                just bought the phone.. so far it seems to be living up my expectations.. only thing I can't figure out is how to take those 6 numbers out of the wallpaper at the bottom of the screen. On mine it says 302 720.. anyone has a suggestion?

                                  Also, all Samsung phones that takes memory card only allow upto 512MB memory card. Any higher, phone won't read it... Kind of a put-off, but 512MB is quite decent enough... D900 also doesn't read memory cards 512MB and over...:[

                                    For the 'HELP' fellow, you have the same battery problem... I've been told by Samsung that most Samsung phones have weak battery when first bought... THe solution is that use up the battery completely (so that phone turns off by itself..) and charge battery for around 8 hours, even if green light has lighted up. Do this a few times, and you should (hopefully) have a normal battery. I myself bought this phone and it came with 2 batteries... Had to do the above to fix battery life problems... Works decently now... :]

                                      @help
                                      battery life depends on first charging (you must charge it for 12h, and few times fully discharge, and recharge) then, your batt will have full capacity. or update firmware, if you have old one. (my batt last 3 days) you can use 1gb card (i have it in my d600)
