how good is the audio quality of this phone?

the phone is very good. but big problem is battery. after you take few photos the battery is dead and you have to charge it at least once per day. i do like the phone but i think i'm going to sell it.

Instructions on how to get FREE MUSIC on the D600.
This is how I do it anyway. It's simple, easy, and free.
- Go to www.limewire.com
- Download basic free
- Download the songs you want on Limewire. [ Just input the song name in the search box]
- Donwload the songs you want. When they're done downloading completely. They'er automatically saved to your pc.
- Use your USB cable, plug it in to your phone.
- Load S'AMSUNG PC STUDIO 3' which came in the box.
- Click on the music button.
- A new part loads up.
- Go to 'FILe' then 'OPEN' and find the song you downloaded. ( They'll be saved to your pc in 'my documents' area or another file )
- Then click the upload to phone button.
Hye presto your done! Ive had this phone for two days! If I can do it! you can!

i just bought this phone and its really impressive, specially the video quality when making with CIF(312*250) SETTINGS AND its sound is very sharp and clear, but its flash does not do much in night and its battery becomes low very soon....

to LY, man those ebay batteryes and cases, and accesories for phones are all made in china, they are cheap stuff that don't last, in my country is full of cheap stuff like that, i was talking about original samsung accesories !! original battery, because if i buy cheap stuff, they will last as much as the price is ;)

I live in Canada (GSM 850/1900), and I purchased this phone on ebay and have being using it for about two weeks. I have to say that I love this phone, the reception is not as good as my old Siemens SL56 but the voice clarity is just beautiful. I have also being using the Bluetooth to transfer files to/from the phone and it is just the easiest thing to do. The camera is good, but the flash really does not produce enough luminance to take decent pictures at night. For that reason the phone is not a good replacement for your digital camera. I originally wanted to get a Nokia 6270 but I read that the rails the enable the phone to work as a slider was made of plastic while the D600 is metal. This is a definite plus since the phone closes with small tolerances between the two pieces. It is still expensive for about $400.00 CAD, but a really fun gadget to play with.

My friend has this phone and showed me how to work it (Since I'm thinking about buying it) And if your looking for a phone that can have loads of media things ( Videos, Music, Pics ) then I would sure as hell reccomend this! We were in class and she turned her bluetooth on. She detected about 8 peoples devices. And took all of there media files. Without them even accepting! You cant do this on many other phones! It's really impressive that yoo can get media files for free so easily. And the v1.2 blutooth is muc more powerful than v1.1 you wouldn't think it would be much of a difference... But it really is great.
so if you want FREE ringtones and other media files. Turn your bluetooth on when your in a busy public place. Thats how you get loads of ringtones Free!

To matthew: I've heard that this is common. I went as far as I could to prevent this problem with the screen protector and the polycarbonated clear cover.
To Xsamsungloverx: There are good things about both the phones so it's a bit hard to compare, but since I've toyed with the D500 before and I currently own the D600, I've come to an overall conclusion that the D600 is better, although the D500 has better a slider system than the D600. To radu: This phone is bad in your opinion because you've had a negative experience with its battery life. I have no problem with my battery life at all. The more I use the phone and charge it daily, the longer my battery life lasts. Maybe you didn't charge it correctly when you first got your phone. It is recommended that you FULLY charge your phone before first usage AND do so for two more cycles (fully charge it, use it until it's fully discharged or when the phone turns off on its own, and then repeat the process 2 more times). As for purchasing a new battery for your phone... please utilize the internet. Obviously, if you can't find a battery for this phone in phone shops then the next best thing is to go online. Some Ebay "Buy-It-Now" auctions offers the 2 D600 batteries and a charger for less than $20.
To Belen: If you bought it from an unopened box, you should get the earpiece, the TV output cord, the USB connector, and a charger. I believe that's it. Someone correct me if I'm missing something.
To omeng: Yes, this phone is very impressive. I'm glad that you like it, also.
To Sel: You actually have to install the games into the phone's internal memory which has a separate section for games. As soon as I can find the instructions on how to install games, I will email you with it. I have it somewhere, just I don't know where, lol.
To wojto: You ask questions like you're yelling or something. No you do not need to charge your phone every 3rd day -- charge it everyday like you would a cell phone. People don't charge their cell phones because they are either too lazy, do not have their phone charger with them, too busy, or they forgot to. If any of the above is the case then yes... you must charge your phone every 3 days. Please note that the 3 days standby time is when you've already "broke" into your phone. The battery life should be less if you have just purchased the phone -- battery life will be shorter for the first couple of week or so. No, you cannot write SMS while listening to music unless you mod your phone. Yes, if you are listening to mp3s on a full battery, you can only listening for approx 3 hours before your phone runs out of battery. I read and reread your last question and I do not understand; therefore, I decided not to answer it.

anyone know of a fault where the up key doesnt work on the d pad?
