I had purchased this phone back in Mid-February from mobilebee.com. I would NOT trust Plemix but I did use their site to price match my phone. Mobilebee doesnt have the greatest of customer service, but they did come through. The phone's great, the OS takes a while to get used to if you haven't been using Nokias, but the processor is WAY TOO SLOW. Menus tend to lag and it takes a little getting used to. However, my main concern w/ this phone is the lack of support. You can't find much info for anything on this phone b/c it's too new. You have much better luck registering w/ Nokia forums for help.

The English verson of usermanual is not available yet. Check samsung download center for updates.
How is your phone working? I'm waiting for mine. Please share if you find something out.

umm, I think it's available at many places, like here Canada, I have seen it, it's quite different from what I EXPECTed, the front is good, but it's too THICK....no wonder it seldom show pics of its side...ha...and quite heavy...I HAD planned to buy it, but now gotta consider...

Jimmy..its available from plemix/welectronics/importgsm/110220electronics (just do a search on froogle) and its factory unlocked so you can use your existing sim card. But so far I'm not sure if these sites are reliable to buy or not.Did anyone buy from these sites guys??

From a few websites that i have found, there is a countdown on when new phones are available, but the only thing is I don't know how accurate the countdown is. I think both of the sites that i know says that it will be available in just a few more days! The price is around $700. It is a bit pricey but it seems like a very reliable phone. We just have to wait to see if the countdown is correct. Hopefully it is.

guys is this phone available or still coming soon? why some of the people here saying that they have already own one but here still in coming soon status? if u guys own one, can u guys share ur opinion about this phone and how much u guys bought it? it's a UMTS phone or not? what about the OS? is it user friendly and ease to use? thx a lot~~ i have already taken note of this phone for decades but it still havent released~~

I think when Samsung stated that the D720 is going to be release in 2005 QTR 1, I think they made a typo! haha... seems to me that it is going to be release in 2006 QTR 1 instead...ah, isn't that something.

Hello, I use my d720 for about a month now. The cards you put in the phone are mini sd. and in Europe the d720 costs 449 EURO.

to JH: Im a bit confussed. According to the specification here and in other sites, it has MMc-micro. Trans-Flash means microSD which is different format. and then I saw a side view of the phone in some other website where its written "miniSD" over the slot. which is another different card format. Anyone has any idea what actually it has??

Well seems I just got ripped off by some romanian.They even have websites.Found another one in italy with same website. So if you are dealing with Safe & insurance Electronics Ltd. well good luck!I paid for mine and still waiting, no word from them.

I got hold of some people from eBay. Price varying from 220-365 USD. No idea if its genuine or not. Those who bought it from store in Europe, Could you please say how much it cost you. Thanks
