I just got my D820.. so far so good. HOwever when i rotate the camera to face me, the photo taken is up side down. Anyone know how to solve this problem??

i finally bought my d820 last week and its a great phone and i just love it. and i was very surpriced that the battery would last 2 and a half day, its great, great looks, great functions, cool.

Just starting using the phone. The design is great, even the functions are cool. I hope samsung decide to make a "3G" version of this phone. I think it would be a huge hit. it would be perfect for 3G. hint hint. think about the sales samsung! hehehehhe

Transfer the mp3 tone from memory card to handset memory, mp3 files on memory card cannot be set as ringtune.

Hello everyone.
I have a D820. I can use MP3s as ring tone. but if the file is in memory card,
it is first copied to phone mem then set as ring tone.
Can we overcome this?
Also some mp3 files are considered "Not supported Content" inspite of
being converted to 128KB/44Khz mp3 file format. Does anyone has as Idea?

got a question... the pictures i set as the ID of me contacts dont seem to appear when i call them, but it only appears when they call me. so... is this how its supposed to be? thanx...

The fone is a nicely designed fone,,but i have a problem,whenever i transfer mp3's to it i cant set them as a ringtone,i can only set the ones that were on the fone not the ones i put on it,,,anybody knows how to fix this????

why u all having a hard time using this phone? i bought one jst dis april & its working pretty well for me.. good design & performance but there is a new one coming up.. its d870 with 3.2 megapix cam cool!

For Dan below.... You can use mp3 for ringtone.. Go: Menu -> 9 -> 4 -> 1 go down 1 spot on the nav to highlight the ringtne name and press the centre round 'i' button. Then use the nave keys to scroll left/right through the default rings, voice recordings and eventually the music area. You should be able to select any of the mp3 files there to use as ringtone.

I got the phone a few days ago and I'm reasonably please so far. The screen is brilliant. Bright and clear. I'm finding the software\menu controls are taking a bit to get used to and the manual isn't very helpful. I've only had Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones before. It's taken me two days to work out how to get the phone to play an mp3 as the rigntone. Now to work out how to get it to play personal rings....hmm.

I tested this phone recently. It look beautiful, a Well designed solid device but why on earth Samsung used so much of cheap plastic in this phone? I think if a user drops it, the phone is done!!! The Camera is too hard to rotate not like the Good old D410 in which I think is the best Samsung ever. All new Samsung phone have good too much plastic. Doing too much special effect in the menu does not make the phone any better. Change the plastic case and then you have one of the best.

I went into my local phone shop and they had this phone listed as a 3G phone but on this site it mentions that it isn't compatible to 3g..?? which is right?

i personaly think it is the worst phone samsung has made to date. It was launched not to long ago and i work at vodacare a cellular repair centre and the number of phones we have recieved is amazing! slide problems, software problems, keypad problems, display problems etc...
really its a bad phone looks are good but performance NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
