In my experience, having used numerous phones, there is no such thing as the perfect phone because of new technologies being introduced and the various user requirements.
As for the battery issue, many people make the mistake of charging their battery for 16 hours before using the phone. When i purchased my D820, i immediately started using the phone without charging the battery and guess what....i got a full 16 hours of use before recharging and it took only 3 and a half hours to complete the recharge. I'm now on my 3rd day and i've still got sufficient battery life, and this after I have played around with the phone quite a bit to familiarise myself with it.
I've had the phone for 5 days now and i am quite happy with it, especially the photo/video quality and the TV output.
That's just my opinion....

@Rod,
I dont have this phone, but as far I know iTunes as different file extension and this model doesnt support those files. So its better to chaange them to 3gp before transffering to the phone. That might work.

hey i just bought this phone two days ago. i think it's a really good phone. I love the slim-sleek look of it. this is actually my first samsung phone, so i would like to ask the following questions:
1. can the default setting, which all sms' received are stored on the sim card, be changed? (i just want to save it to the phone memory)
2. is it possible to set the phone on default to save all sent sms' automatically?
