I somehow activated the greeting message, is there anyway to remove it? It's kind of annoying seeing it pop up in rainbow colors.

hi ive just got my new samsung d820 and i haf a few questions to ask on some operations.
1. can i choose a setting to stop the auto lock after i slide the phone down?
2. when i sms and i use 2 consecutive dots (..) it automatically becomes a smiley sometimes, other times it remains at 2 dots.
3. can this phone support different profiles like nokia or do i have to manually switch it under sound settings if i want different melodies.
4. can i set a theme like nokia n series so that on the background on every screen i go to it is a customised picture.
5. in the sms screen, above the t9ENG symbol, there is another symbol of capital a (A) do u know what this means?
Can anyone help to answer my queries? please reply to my email? thanks alot guys.

I'm looking for an opinion between the D820 and the D870? Which is the better phone? Looking for a phone that supports EDGE, Doucument viewer, and has a Audio/Video output. I'm into designing, so it would be good it it could support Powerpoint.

Its a phone with a sleek design and functions well. However, I have only 1 problem with it. When there is an incoming call, the ringtone started off really soft for around 2 secs before going to the desired volume set. Does anyone else experience this with their D820 or is it a fault of only my phone?

Yes.. Picsel Viewer automatically opens once you click an excel, word, PDF file under the file manager page.
TV out is just an external display instead of the phone LCD.
