Hi guys,

Would like to ask D820 users about this...when the camera is rotated and faces the user, the screen shows an inverted image (i.e. upside down).....How do I set the camera to an upright position, other than having to turn the phone around? (which is weird, indeed!)

Are gsmarena sure that it hasn't 3G? It looks like it has 3G because there is camera.

keypads can be switched off also: go to sound settings, keypad tones, then "OFF".

If for some reason something wrong with your phone, better go to your dealer to fix it first before posting it here.

I bought this phone yesterday and found:
          1. MP3 can be used as ringtones. Some people say it must be converted to 3GP first.
          2. MP3 + VIBRATE mode is okay
          3. Keypad option in quill pen is greyed out because quill pen has its own design. You don't need to customize.

Anyone know if it's possible to attach a lanyard to this phone? I don't see any openings...

Are the melodies that are preset for messages the only ones you can use? can you use your own melodies or sounds for messages (i'm not talking about ringtones)

Alex , try set back your dialling display to "normal" instead of " quill pen " or " sticky note " Hope that will help your prob.

                      Hi all,

Is it true that the keypads tone cannot be turned off? I cant seem to find a fuction for me to turn them off. Except when vibration mode.

                      Regards, Alex

Hello, Thanks very much for that info on the keypad tones. Very stupid of Samsung. This such a nice phone and like all manufactures there are always short comings. Like email on a mobile I have never seen a good email package on a mobile.

If the "dialling display" in setting is set to sticky note or quill pen , then the keypad option will be grey-out.... even the service centre cant solve this bug.

Samsung USA says 820 has 'european software' and will not work. BS - there has to be a way (secret menu, etc.) Anyone care to help??? Is your MMS working? If so how...I want to keep this phone!

One correction, to copy itune files you have to burn them to a cd then rip it back again.
