SALMAN. Re Photo shutter sound. Go MENU - 8 - 1 OPTIONS - then scroll down to 8 (Settings) and 2 (Preferences). You then have choices of shutter sound.

The D900 works brilliantly with the above stereo bluetooth headset. Answers calls and music comes back on after hanging up. The headset also works great with PC.

While you're in the main screen, press the volume button that is located on the left side of the phone... and click it down until the key volume is 0.

Please is there any way of locking the main green and red buttons so that when the phone rings and I take it out of my pocket I either don't answer it or switch it off inadvertantly?

The phone is good but i have had my for under a week and i have found things which are wrong with it like when i take a photo there is a noise which sounds like something is wrong and that the blue tooth wont work on everything like blue tooth printers and some bluetooth headsets

Hi The camera is at least 3 mega pixels and the pictures are Brill, Captures very quickly.

Hi there. I just bought the phone on thursday. And i must say it's so far the best phone i've got. However i am wondering if anybody knows how to switch off the keypad tone when your typing a message. It's so loud and annoying. I do know that you can switch off the keypad tone of the phone, but now i just wanna off the typing message tones.

I've just got this phone on contract with Orange and on the main screen i have a toolbar going down the left hand side. No matter how hard I try I cannot figure out how to get rid of it!! Any help would be appreciated. Also can you get any themes other than the Big Ben looking one? Thanks

1. ring
2. vibrate
3. ring and vibrate
4. ring then virbrate
5. virbrate then ring

sorry if this has already been answered but does this phone ring and vibrate at the same time? my old samsung only did one or the other. also what is the camera quality like?

In the living world theme - is there any way to remove the missed call/text screen so u only see the fireworks/planes. Seems to defeat the purpose if u know what I mean.

JT - as mentioned before you can remove the GPRS signal easily. Appreciate comments by Maxima but it is easily reversible. I have removed and added the signal many times and have encountered no problems at all. The reason why it is not in the user manual is because it is for the technical guys - the average user should not be able to access these menus.

To JT.
1. The battery life is not the greatest ever, but will definitely improve with regular charging.
2. I don't honestly think the GPRS signal drains the battery much. See comment below from ALI re moving GPRS to Manual. I think this is a very risky operation. It's not in the User Guide, and you could mess up completely.
3. When texting, to go back and amend a word, use the navigation key to the left of the OK button.

Hi everyone. I've got a D900 and wondered if anyone can help with a couple of problems:
1. my battery life seems really poor - any ideas?
2. how do i swith off the gprs as i think this uses up loads of power?
3. is there any way to control a word when texting after you moved on (so you can change it again) without deleting it?
