Hi Claire as far as I know about the Themes is that you cant buy any but hopefully someone will sort it out sooner rather than later, Money in the making there? lol

a gr8 phone just got it plenty of memory and a card slot best phone i have ever owned easy to text and easy to use bluetooth(duh!) all in all gr8 phone i would reccomend it!!!!

CLAIRE. The home screen Theme changes automatically from country to country as you travel - so presumably the phone picks up the local signal.
You can't change the Theme by playing with the Time Zone Settings. If there is another way, I don't know of it.
Of course, you can always go MENU 9 - 3 - 1 and change Wallpaper to Normal and SAVE. This gives you other options.

EMMA: beep from ur laptop is a good sign. See whether the following can be of any help(only if u have genuine samsung usb cable). Connect phone and laptop.Make sure that in menu9-2-8(usb settings), MODEM is selecetd, NOT MASS STORAGE. Open PC studio. file..connections..usb..connect. Still not connected, in laptop,control pannel..system..hardware..device manager..modems. Unfold modem list and see 'SAMSUNG MOBILE USB MODEM' is there.
1. If it is NOT there, insert PC studio CD and install drivers WITHOUT DISCONNECTING PHONE FROM LAPTOP. restart and see if it connects.
2.If it is there in the list, right click..properties..general..device status must be'Device working properly'. Device usage must be 'use this device'. (now inser CD and exit set-up window.)Again in driver..update driver. update using windows update or from cd. Restart without disconnecting phone.
Alternatively, you can go to control pannel..phone&modems..modems..'ADD'. Goodluck-Rajesh

GIOVANNI. Yes D900 has a calculator. It also has voice recorder, calender, alarm, world clock, converter, timer, stopwatch, great 3 meg auto focus camera, video recorder, music player, bluetooth, java world etc etc. It does NOT have 3G, voice dialling, or FM radio. It's a great all round quad band mobile - with magnificent screen colours and unique Samsung features.

im really confused if i should buy either samsung d900 or motorola maxx... which is which?? i really think that d900 is better than v6.... does this battery lasts longer??? help!!! a phone with 3g or without 3g???

Has anyone managed to work out how your computer recognises the handset via usb?? I've installed everything, followed the instructions, plugged the phone in via usb and nothing! Just a beep from the laptop to say 'yay you've plugged something in', open up the samsung pc studio thingy and it just doesn't register. The phone charges..which is great, except that's not why I'm plugging the thing in!
Please, someone help!

Claire to get themes all you do (and I think there will be only one saved to the phone) go into Settings,then Display settings then wallpaper, your find it there, x

What you've hit is the volume control key at the side of your phone-probably the down key. But when you exit and enter capture mode again, it must become normal. If it repeats everytime, it may be because you are accidently pressing volume key while you press the camera button on the other side. (Be careful on this). ok/i button is a better option for taking shots.

Chicks, u can remove the G from the top of screen. Type in *#4777*8665#. This will bring up the GPRS menu. Choose Option 5 and select manual. Switch phone off and on and the G will be gone.

Hi i just got the D900 crome which i think is CRACKER!! But after reading the comments and comparing with friend and family i see that they have these "THEMES", how do i get them on my phone.

I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem with the camera on the d900- i have pressed something which makes the image into a mirror image, both when taking photos and afterwards. i can edit it afterwards but not at the time- any suggestions to turn it back again? thank you!

Great phone - just one problem, I put a CD onto my computer so I could copy it onto the phone, and after 8 songs the memory was full. Have I done something wrong or do I need a memory card?
