Hi, Had this nice phone for just over a week- can anyone tell me where I can buy new themes for it, the one with big ben is 02? as when I switch off and turn it on again it goes on to a field with flowers and birds, would love to get different themes. Thanks x

CHICKS. It's the GPRS logo of course. You are stuck with it. Look upon it as a status symbol. Mine is either there or it isn't. I kinda miss it when it goes down.

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to remove the "G" icon from my main screen (WAP icon)? It's on blue when inactive and red when active. Just curious as to why it has to be there??

great looking phone with super features. beware tho' screen cracked after seven days and neither cpw or samsung will repair it under warranty. costs £40 - 70 with a growing number of complaints re this problem.

In the living world theme - when u get a missed call and there is a plane/fireworks across the screen. Is there anyway to remove the missed call screen so u only see the fireworks/plane. Thanks

TIPS: Tips 4 anybody NEW to this handset. (1)While reading long text messages with more than one page-you can use up/down navigation keys for scrolling line by line; but it is annoying-USE THE VOLUME KEY TO SCROLL PAGEWISE. (2) for viewing photos/videos stored in phone, you needn't go to menu>my files>my photos/videos; CLICK ONCE ON THE CAMERA BUTTON AND GO TO MY PHOTOS/VIDEOS (3)photos&videos are viewed brighter by setting the LCD BRIGHTNESS TO MAXIMUM(display settings>brightness);but this will consume more battery. (4)while in camera mode press '0' to go to my photos and back.

have the chrome d900, and it is so sleek and looks lovely, sound is great, battery seems ok. overall a great phone

JTC. You need a 512mb SanDisk TransFlash MICRO SD Memory card.
Although 1GB has been known to work, Samsung officially say that 512mb is the max for D900. The 2GB is not recommended.

Question re ORANGE HIGHLIGHT.
You can only change background colour. To do this go MENU 9 - 3 - 6 and change Font Type from THEME to NORMAL and SAVE. Then you can change
background colour (and also font size, and font colour).

ANNIE, You miss nothing in your D900. Go to settings menu. then 3.Display settings. Then '6'Dialling display(this is the '6'I mentioned). selecting 'dialling display', you'll find four submenus relating to font. select 1.Font type. Change it to NORMAL from theme, save and you'll find that submenus 2,3&4(font size,colour etc) are no more inactive. For reviewing opinions regarding this again, type 'dialling display' in the search box at the bottom of this page.
Regarding the photo of theme wallpaper at the bottom of menu, I don't know anybody have it in D900.

Rajesh: a while ago you mentioned the dialling display (9-3-6)... but on my phone, i can't seem to find the 6...there are only 4 options... does that mean that i'm missing out on the themes? because i don't have the little postcard at the bottom of the screen...i only get it at the top when dialing...
