CRIS :If you go to your SETTINGS menu and then to option 4 - SOUND SETTINGS - and then option 2 - KEYPAD TONE - and then select the off option at the very top. I hope this helps you.
RAJESH :Thanks for the advice on the video. Its not fantastic but there is a massive difference from when I first used it and the full screen helps alot. Cheers

To WILL. Your screen problem is not uncommon. Tap in CRACKED SCREEN at foot of this page and Search previous opinions. See letter from JIM. Good luck.

Does anyone know have the umenu interface on there D900? Its the menu where theres like a post card of the day at the bottom of the menu just like when you dial a number only the post card is at the bottom.

Dr.ADEDOYIN-U.MENU- If you are using a d900, it must have the u.menu. Go to display settings and change DIALLING DISPLAY from theme to NORMAL. (menu 9-3-6-1) then Go to phone settings and turn ADVANCED SHORTCUTS-ON.

OK...I had my phone for about 6 months now and NO Scratches or Dents. I never dropped my phone ever and took care of my baby. I slid open my phone yesterday and found out I got this crack in the inner screen bottom left corner and the whole screen is black except for the cracks of course. Warranty doesn't cover LCD even though there is no exterior damage or anything. I am so dissapointed since I never damage or drop the phone and stupid inside LCD screen is cracked. Anybody else experience this...a deep crack inside the plastic screen is cracked?? THis is really upsetting

A've ben reading some comments on the D900 on this forum and am begining to think there are many versions of this phone. Mine does not have the U MENU. You can add words to the dictionary of my T9 and it stays there. My phone T9 can handle "economist" without problems and my battery cover is plastic not metal.

To Annie.I think what happens is that some d900's come with a certain themed wallpaper.The city of t.o for you and a park for me.I don't think that can be changed unfortunately.I have tried to find another themed wallpaper with no luck.

Dr.ADEDOYIN: I saw your posting below and just then got your mail also. I hope you made the posting before you got my mail. Go ahead. you will find that downloading java via usb is so common and so easy-once you get used to it. if I can use opera mini, you can also. Once you get opera mini, downloading via wap also becomes easy.

Just an addition to my previous post. the real surprise about U-Menu is that you type 1234, press down key, do some calculations using it, and ahen you finish press 'back' option and come back to main screen and THE 1234 IS STILL THERE, ready for another calculation or a calendar entry or an alarm setting or an sms......how's that?!!

the U-MENU is another intelligent n user friendly feature created by samsung. it works as this, simply type a few digits-for example, 1112 -in idle mode. now press, the 'up' navigation key and the alarm will be set at 11.12am/pm! if you press 'down' key, the calculator will start with 1112 on its screen! press 'left' key, sms screen will appear, write a message and it will be sent to number 1112(if it is valid). press 'right' key and a calendar event will be added on the date; 11th december (11/12/..)really intelligent-is it? you can select from five options.
besides this, if you simply press 'up' key in idle mode, a quick-access menu (My Menu)will pop-up which you can customize using a number of options.

TERRI: go to the video capture mode, from options(left soft key)select 6.camcorder settings, change recording mode to 'NORMAL' and your problem is over.
now,the quality option will become active when you do it. 4 choices of compression there. normal is recommended for long videos. but before that select 'superfine',capture a short video, view it and believe me- all your worries about video quality will change into surprise. and select size '320x240'. while playing a video, press 1 for full screen.
NOKIAFAN: I have used sam-X820 with 2 MP camera. if you are satisfied with viewing photos in phone itself, I think a 2MP and3MP won't make considerable difference. but if you view it on big screen (PC) there IS difference. and when it comes to print-outs, there is MUCH difference.

How many messages can this D900 store max? Any option to store in its Memory card instead? Thanks in advance. :)

HELP - I got this phone last Wednesday and I love it but there is only one problem I have discovered - The video is not that great. It is very unclear when I watch after recording and the picture is small and not full screen. Can anybody help me.

hi to everyone.i have this phone for 5 months.its perfect.no problems , no crashes.the only thing i found is that when a specific local number calls me the person who called me can not hear me clear.the clear voice of my phone is enabled.all the others can hear me clear.is this a problem of my microphone or something else??thx a lot
