Hello, I like my new D900 but it seems that the Missed Call function isn't working-- it doesn't let me know if somebody calls my phone and I don't pick it up. Anybody have ideas why that might be the case? And better yet, if they know how to fix it? Thanks! Danielle

My D900 has a little space free on the left side only between the keypad and the screen so it makes a strange voice when it push together.Is that normal? Pleas help.

hey guys .. i got the phone a little while ago... im just wonderin if there is a way to improve the sound of this phone.. its not that i dont like how it sounds... i just think it could be better.. especially when im playin songs through the phone's speaker on full volume...if there is/are way/s .. please let me know thanks!

CONVERSATION RECORDING. Don't understand. On my phone the 7th item on OPTIONS - during a call - is Vodafone - nothing to do with recording. What are you saying ??

CONVERSATION RECORDING: a few weeks ago, a discussion was going on here, about conversation recording. somebody suggested using special codes for recording. but i find that the 7th item in options (during a call) is conv.recording itself! what is the need of all these codes??

is there are way of automatically savving phone numbers from within a text like you can on the Nokia?

Rajesh. I don't like to mess with the volume
settings. If you tap in "Rx PGA" at the foot of this page and Search, you will find
others who have made this work for them.
There again, if you tap in "reset code" you will find someone who messed up completely and regretted playing around with it. After all, there's nothing about such things in
the User Guide. You can try it but it's risky.
Re analogue clock - I like it very much, but I think it only comes with the Themed background. Shame.

Hi all... this site is great... a laugh as well as useful! The samsungD900 community centre (:-). Thanks for the help with the Underscore...found it but... my question for today: how do I get the underscore symbol within the browser settings.... when I am trying to write my email address into that box?
Second Q: is there are way of automatically savving phone numbers from within a text like you can on the Nokia?

MAXIMA, what's ur opinion abt increasing volume by the following procedure? safe? :
turning volume up: (ringtones etc)
1. Type *#8999*8378#
2. Go to H/W test
3. Go to Audio Settings
4. Choose Normal
5. Go to Rx PGA and set it to 255
6. Then Rx vol.
Level 1: 50
Level 2:100
Level 3:175
Level 4:210
Level 5:255
ALSO, how can I show/hide the analytical clock on main display?

JENYA: make sure that:
1.You are using Samsung PC studio version 3.0.1 (from help menu) 2. you are using GENUINE samsung usb cable. if both ok, uninstall and re-install pc studio, install driver with cable connected. still not working, then click on the following link to download PC studio3.1.(you may have to register)http://uk.samsungmobile.com/wcms/products/phones/phonedata/download/UK-SGH-D900.jsp remember that you CANNOT get your phone's memory(my files) through mass storage option(only memory card)

One more thing...after you installed PC studio did you do the online updates and let them install? There is about 40 MB of updates.
And remember to REBOOT after installing

Unfortunately I'm still unable to transfer the files to my phone even through PCStudio3 (got it from CD). I installed it as well as the USB driver (from CD as well). I connected my phone to my laptop and started PCStudio. It prompted me how I would like to connect, I chose USB. Then it opened another window that had "Elapsed time" counting seconds.... and counting, and still counting... It said it may take a few minutes, so I waited..... waited until it reached 2340 seconds, then I figured it's a waste of time. :((
My phone was set to "Modem". Then I tried setting it to "Mass Storage", than to "PictBridge".. nothing works!!!
What am I doing wrong???
I already ordered the MicroSD card, but I should be able to use my phone's memory even without it, right?
Please suggest something - I'm giving up.. :(

After installing the PC studio3 did you reboot the computer? and then and ONLY then start PC studio and THEN plug in the phone and go thru the sequence again.
