Thanks for your help, guys!
Unfortunately I'm still unable to transfer the files to my phone even through PCStudio3 (got it from CD). I installed it as well as the USB driver (from CD as well). I connected my phone to my laptop and started PCStudio. It prompted me how I would like to connect, I chose USB. Then it opened another window that had "Elapsed time" counting seconds.... and counting, and still counting... It said it may take a few minutes, so I waited..... waited until it reached 2340 seconds, then I figured it's a waste of time. :((
My phone was set to "Modem". Then I tried setting it to "Mass Storage", than to "PictBridge".. nothing works!!!
What am I doing wrong???
I already ordered the MicroSD card, but I should be able to use my phone's memory even without it, right?
Please suggest something - I'm giving up.. :(

      Clint Toris ,
if you do not like to use the pc3 studio then buy the memory care. if you have the memory card then you can transfer everything as well as the in the memory care. But mind you, everything samsung 3g phone could transfer photos and videos all of your pictures and videos taken to memrory card instatly, so better get the z21 or the z720 beause it alwsays have the profile option but the d900 always give the option to make your walpaper make everything make your pidture as your picture as whatever you want, as long as you want , making

      .......................

Well, it you do the wallpaper with the USB then partition the memcard and format the screen you can actually make the vibration function work if you first activate the 9-1-6-3 then have a quick wank or use your finger and afterwards you realize the D900 rules.
Makes as much sense as your post.

Andrea. In messaging, the underscore can be found by pressing and holding #. Then press 8

Clint, thanks for you response! Your English is great.. ;)
Listen, I'm trying to download some music to my phone using USB port, but I don't have a MicroSD card, so I just want to use the actual phone's memory to store the files. For some reason it's not working... USB settings only have 3 options: Modem, USB storage (card only) and Pictbridge (to connect to printer).
Any ideas what I'm missing? Thanks again!

              ............................

Oh, and lest I forget..............everytime you unplug the USB cable from the phone it automatically reverts back to modem status.

              Many folks don't understand that.

To access memory card (when you get one), go to settings>USB settings> click on MASS STORAGE...........when finished doing what you want to do and you unplug the USB cable it goes back to modem. Then you can access the PC Studio.

PC studio is kind of a pain in the rear when trying to use Bluetooth. Lots of comport conflicts. Using the USB cable is much easier and charges your phone at the same time (trickle charge) takes longer to charge but works well. I leave mine plugged into my laptop all the time when I am home.

Listen, you have to go on settings then go on display settings and change the dialling display from theme to normal. Then change it to beep. Thats all!
I am glad if I was of any help.

                              Jenya,

Yes unfortunately you cannot access anything before you get your SIM card.

You can save numbers to either your SIM card or to the phone using the PC Studio software.

I have a burgundy color one (I am in Holland).

What is very cool is the way the wallpaper themes change when going from country to country. Seeing as I live 20 km from Germanyborder and within a 3 hour drive from 4 countries its neat to see the themes change.

                              Hope my English is okay....

                              Enjoy the fone!!

                                Hi Everyone,
I just received my D900 and can't stop looking at it. Unfortunately, this is the only thing I can do with it at this point since I haven't received my SIM card yet and apparently you can't even access the menu function without it! :(
Is it even normal? I assumed that since it has 60mb embedded, I won't need a SIM card to access most of the features.... Also, can anybody tell me where all the numbers are stored: on the phone or on the SIM card? I am planning on using it the phone in US and in Europe: will I still be able to access my phone book, pictures, etc if I switch SIM-card?
The exterior color of the phone is actually different from the one on the picture. I got it on coolbee.com and the picture they have is exactly like the one on GSMarena. But the phone I received is all black (no grey in the middle) and the "talk" and "end" buttons are green and red respectively... not white like on the picture. It's still nice looking, but I was a bit dissapointed since I knew that they make them in black/red/blue/silver, but I specifically wanted the black with grey middle as on the image. Anyway, if you're buying this phone, make sure you're aware of this... As far as the phone - it's AWESOME! Feels great! Looks stunning! Graphics are so sharp and colorful - my eyes hurt!

Rajesh thanks for your respocne. What i have found is that using the samsung phone tools i cannot move a gif into the images folder on the phonem but i was able to move it to my memory card and then set it as wallpaper.
Im not sure how normal it is because if i never had a memory card i could not have set the gif as wallpaper.

Another way i also found was to send the gif to my wife's D900, then send it back to my phone it ended up in downloaded images, which i could then apply as wallpaper.

                                  anyway all sorted now :)

                                  thanks
