Hi. I previously had samsung e780 and its durable and had no problems. I own now a samsung d900 just to change the form factor of my phone. At first, I was so pleased sliding the phone. : ) But my classmate told me that her samsung sliding phone always have slidling problems. The ribbon, connecting the keypad to the lcd, always break twice!! Are the ribbons of samsung sliding phones generally durable? I really love to slide my phone.... :c

I´m from Argentina...After 1 month of "soft" use,the LCD screen has cracked unknowingly without dropping or whatsoever...and the warranty doesn´t cover it. I can´t belive how can they made such a fragile phone....don´t buy it !!!!

Very nice and stylish phone with lots of practical features. I have however encountered a problem and that is that the software supplied doesn't always detects the phone via USB. If there is anyone who knows how to fix this please e-mail me

          Regards
          Travis

you CAN put the keyboard on silent by using the arrows on the side of your phone without turning the whole phone in silent. try it and let me know. ;)

KEYPAD TONES. This question keeps coming up. You can only adjust these if you have first gone to Menu 9 - 3 - 6 - 1 and changed font type from Theme to Normal - SAVE. (Keypad Tones on MENU 9 - 4 - 2 will no longer be shaded out ). For Key VOLUME, from idle mode, push up slider and adjust from LH side buttons.

The battery life of this phone sucks big time, what is samsung prepared to do about that? Get us a more powerfull battery and the phone will be complete, otherwise the phone is cool.

It's a nice phone, but i wish there was a way to make the keypad silent, with out putting the phone on silent, when using applications. It's a nice stylish phone, there's nothing i can't do with it, it has taken over my computer

The person below... you should be able to silence the tone by going to Keypad Tone (in Sound Settings which is in Phone Settings) and selecting off... If problem is not resolved, recommend just leaving phone in silent mode..... Also, for those interested in a Video tip, press 1 while playing any video. It will go into fullscreen... To get out of this menu, press 1 2x until mode is off... Very mint phone, wish I had it. Love it cause of the revolutionary LIVING WORLD feature....:]

i also have that problem with smears on the LCD, but it happens aswell wen i push the lcd, but i dont know if you can fix it.btw it reminds me off the plasma pc screens. i don't think we should press the fone on our ears because a smear will just come up after.

to mute the keypad tone you just have to press the side "down" button until the volumn says 0.

On the samsung page it says this phone can take upto 512MB memory card. I was just about to but a 1GB card. Can any one tell me if it can take and use up to 1BG? Its a MicroScan SD 1GB. Tnx x

You are unfortunately stuck with the Samsung incoming message tones.I don't think they can be added to. 1GB is the maximum memory card that the D900 will take. That's all I can tell you. Best wishes.
