ZOE. Muting keypad tones. 1. From idle mode push up slider and use LH side buttons. 2. Another way is to go MENU 9 - 3 - 6 - 1 and change font type from Theme to Normal. Keypad tone ( 9 - 4 - 2 ) will no longer be shaded out, and you can make your own adjustments.

I can help you out Zoe what you need to do is go to the main menu, select settings, select sound settings, select keypad tone and select (off) now when you dial a number you won't hear any keypad tone at all hope i've been a good help Zoe.

D900 Display is excellent, Camera is very good but same problem of battery. Its talk time is almost just 2hours & 30mints. Simple i want to that excellent phone with disappointing battery timings.

I love this phone but does anyone know how to mute the keypad tone? It's shaded out on the menu and the instruction book is no use either! Any solutions would be welcomed!! Thanks.

is anyone else having problems with the lcd??
especially after a call, i get a 'smear' down the display, its on the lcd though, not on the outside.
i've had the display replaced but i've still got the problem =[
anyobdy else the same?? if so, do you know how to fix it??

TO JAY 74: Do not worry, leave it on manual, it will only select the network you subscribed to. When it is set on automatic, it always searches the network with the strongest signal, so it is pointless.Call quality has nothing to do with this. Do not worry, it' ok!!! TRUST ME!! :-)))

i wudnt turn it onto manual signal search cuz u will never get the strongest signal!!! u may get more battery life but call quality will suffer

I finally discovered HOW TOO BOOST BATTERY LIFE on my D900.Go to network settings set on manual search and then your network, otherwise the phone will search the network with the strongest signal. And then go and disable quadband and activate gsm 900/1800 also in the network settings menu. This is it! My battery lasts for 5 days. Good Luck!!!

Purchased a Samsung D900 in mid December 2006 and the screen cracked twice. The manager at Carphone Warehouse in Aberystwyth told me that large screens often cracked if they are kept in people's pockets. What a load of codswallop! I don't recommend this phone, unless you are prepared to pay £40 a time to have it regularly repaired

Ive had the samsung d900 for about 4 months now and already the screen is starting to freeze and the lcd is going wish i had never bothered with it :-(

hey
your either putting the card in upside down and you have to push it in till it locks in mate.
just give it a gentle push, the contacts are usually facing up and the slots on samsungs

i got a RIZR and it sucks, im thinking about going for this as the screen is alot bigger and cam much better, at only £30 more than the rizr it looks like im having a trip into town tommorow for an exchange lol.

got da D900 at crimbo nd I absolutly luv it. I also got a external memory card for da phone but I don't know how 2 put it in. I know where 2 put it but it keeps on popping bak out.
