had this phone for a few weeks and waiting to change service provider so not used so much. am concerned at the sound quality when receiving calls - sounds "Harsh" compared to my previous Nokia. Also am disappointed with Camera- was told it had a "flash" but in Flash mode it is only a continous light giving poor results.

VIVID MESSAGING. "car, phone, and cake" also work. There must be lots more.

VIVID MESSAGING. Go Menu 5 - 5 - 1 - 2. Select ON, and SAVE. Then go back to Menu, go 5 - 1 - Select, and start writing message. Type in "dog cat" and then press Options and then 3 (Preview as vivid message). Watch screen. What a phone ! If anyone knows other vivid words please advise.

The themed text display wallpaper ( 9 - 3 - 1 ) will apparently relate only to the country you are in (eg Houses of Parliament for UK ). This themed text display will only change (they say automatically) if you travel to another country. Can't wait to see this. You can also adjust Font Size, Font colour, and background colour, but first you must change Font type from Theme to Normal ( 9 - 3 - 6 - 1 )

Have this phone for 2 weeks, an excellent phone, screen display is top notch, quality of the phone is good as well, but i got 1 question regarding the themes, can we actually change it?

An awesome phone. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I haven't had any problems. But I do have questions. When I try to use the internet on the phone I can't connect. I just get a "error: network unavailable" I have cingular i was wondering do you have to change some settings around?

Reference my previous note about Text display and Theme setting, I have just discovered that the display automatically gets darker as night approaches, and the moving birds become shooting stars instead. Absolutely brilliant. This phone is something else, and I have had no problems at all. I am very happy with it.

Tri, your screen has cracked. Thats what i am talking about :/
Is azurechicken's screen seems to be fine for a few months shows there "must" be a faulty batch goin around.
I got told if your going on the D900, go on contract with insurance.
P2G costs £100 to fix the screen (asked the phones4u guy)
Does the camera have a bad shutter lag? This isnt very good.... :|

Re Changing text display for the idle screen. Go Menu - Settings - Display Settings - Wallpaper (9 - 3 - 1 ). Then you can change between Theme and Normal. Theme gives you an analogue clock, the date, and moving birds above the Houses of Parliament (if you are in UK that is ). Clever stuff.

Does anyone know if the D900 Bluetooth software is faulty. When I connect mine to my Parrot car kit or Tomtom sat nav it does not always connect and if it does and you make or receive a call it drops the call after a couple of minutes and won't re-connect at all. This is the 3rd D900 I have had and they all do the same.

Why the hell does the camera take so long to take the picture. When you press the button the screen goes still as if the picture has been taken but if you move the phone the picture blurs.

my screen is cracked. i dont know what happen..i can stillmake phone calls..just the screen went completely blank..it there a fix for this? anyone?

I try to use camera but it say (Preview error) what is happend? I think it´s a flat cable...oh no.
