My phone: SAMSUNG D900(It rox my world. i use it to call my reindeers and to deliiver presents all over the world. The camera is so cool that i can take so many pictures of myself in the red clothes. I look so handsome in it. D900 ROWKS! So i wanna encourage you kids to buy this phone (The santa claus phone-Nickname) Because you can take videos and stuff...And pictures...

if thats the case, all you have to do is to use the wire that came with this phone and connect it into the computer. If you not careful, the handphone might explode. The sliding thing of the handphone might come out also. So please be careful. And next, transfer music files into the phone using the wire. You must download the software from the CD they give you. If you lose the CD, then TOO BAD. U Cant enjoy all the cool songs anymore. but i doubt anyone will be so diao and lame to lose the CD, agree? Ok, ENJOY!

wad do u mean by keep the music on??? I m most willing to help ya ^^ erms, if what you mean is letting the music continue to play while you do other stuff like sending messages or viewing contacts, all you have to do is press the "back" button when the music is played at music player not from my files > music.
You can find the music player at the applications menu. Have fun with your fone! :)

HELPPPP! im going away soon, and i really would like to put some music on. BUT the instruction manual is NOT very helpful, and therefore ihave NO idea how to put the music on. its VERY confusing! i would appreciate it SOOOO much if anyone could help me!! please! helppppppp

im 13 and im not very good at finding very good phones and i wanted this phone for christmas, but evry one is saying its not very good, the only things i care about are memory, camera and if it looks priti so i was just wandering if its a good phone or not??

hmmm.. guys. u shouldn't just read about some of the bad reviews and dont wanna get this fone. it is a GOOD phone! i dun regret owning it. anyway, it is up to different people. some people will like it while some doesn't it is up to u. I find the camera and video great. Frames,emoticons,animations are all so cute... the features are cool too. The menu page is so stylo!!! Buy it!!

I just bought a new d9, just 3 days... i was impressed with some of the features especially with screen colors... One thing that bothers me is that the battery life of the fon. With my Nokia b4, i can last for up to 4 days with normal use (txt, call, take pictures, a lil video). Now with my D9. i was disappointed because it only lasted for a day's use. Can anybody shed light on me.

The phone is really made with cheap material, nothing compared with the great old Motorola V3. The interface has many odds, it's better than Motorola but it was better on the D600, which had a nicer look too. The battery life is not up to the features of the phone. The volume of the message's alert can't be set in a different way from the call's volume.
While the phone is on sby and accidentaly the user touches the "OK" button, the web's section starts, and the user pays the connection to the net. (It should require a confirm by clicking twice.)
The camera is not up to the 3M pixels standards, practically I don't see any difference from the 2MP camera on the D600
Talking about quadband phones, I would buy another D600 instead of this D900 which is not better at all than its predecessor.

Other than that! i love this phone! it's so pretty and great to use! :) Oh RANTES, i don't think you can save directly to the memory card. I've read several posts here and tried it myself. You always have to save everything through the phone first and then transfer to the memcard manually.

Thanks again Maxima, I guess i'll just have to empty my sim contacts and if i want to transfer my sim to another fon, i'll just copy my contacts at that time. I found out how to read documents, just have to download them to the phone and choose them, that simple so i guess my only problem is how to run java applications and games like dictionaries, moneytracker, etc.

PURPLESHADOW. Here's a way. Go Menu 2 - 7 - 2 - 2 and stop there. Up will come your PHONE memory entries. (as opposed to Sim ) Long way round, but only way I know. Hope it helps. By the way, you can only set a caller image (photo) to a Phone memory entry. Happy Xmas to all my readers.

The headphones for this phone are junk.
Do they make other headphones that will work with this phone? Is there a converter that will allow a standard pin headphone work?
Also, the camera is not good on this phone. It just takes larger VGA quality pictures.
And forget about taking them at night or indoors. This phone is not worth the money.

Thanks for answering my question no.4 Maxima! :) Oh i actually have one more question to add which i forgot to ask in my previous post. Perhaps you know the answer to this one too. Is it possible to just view contacts in the sim card only or the phone only? or d900 will really show both? 'coz my contacts double if i have them both in my phone and sim.

TO PURPLESHADOW. I think I can answer your video question (4). Go to Camera / Select, then Record Video / Select and press LH Options button. Then press 6 (Camcorder settings) and set Recording mode to NORMAL. This will give you Maximum video recording time.

Hi everyone i have a few questions. I just got a D900.
1. As of i read in the samsung website and the reviews, this phone has a document reader and pdf reader but i can't seem to find the application for that anywhere. Can anyone help me?
2. Also, has anyone tried downloading applications or games into the D900? i have downloaded .jar and .jad applications/games into it but i cannot open them. It says unsupported format.
3. Where can I download supported applications/games for this phone?
4. Also, can video recording be set to unlimited?
5. Lastly, how do i transfer files from my pc directly to the memory card? I always need to use the samsung pc studio software that came with the phone to transfer files and they transfer to the phone's memory and afterwards i have to manually transfer to the memory card.
I hope someone can help me with these questions. It would be greatly appreciated.
