hi guys. i jus bought this fone too. and i played wif it for quite awhile >< the battery really isn tat fantastic .. it runs out when i play just some songs or games...sigh. and i have to off the keytones COMPLETELY in order to remove tat sound when i type messages..however, the colour is FANTASTIC. Very BEAUTIFUL! Though it is not 3G and does not have radio, i dun feel tat i nid these 2 functions. usin 3G is expensive, and radio we have our own songs inside ^^ it slides easily and the sound quality is not that bad(sony ericson phone will be better haha!) but overall, it is a good fone yar. =D

MESSAGES. After writing your message, you must go to Options and press 2 (Save and Send ). If you only press 1 (Send Only ) your message will not be saved in the Outbox. No charge for this :)

ok i was wondering if they all don't automatically save your send messages to the outbox or if its just mine? otherwise great fone.

worked out that a sandisk memory card workes the best. I got a new one and it works faster and all of your files work.
2 disadvantages of this phone are: msg tones are really bad and you cant adjust the volume of your alarm.
Other than that it is a good phone

Come on... everybody knows you absolutely need to have a new battery charge for, at least 12 hours. Get a new battery!

NO. I doubt if it's anything you've done. I think it's generally agreed that the battery is not great.

I just bought a D900 and just like with all new fones i was excited to use it. i noe about fully charging the fone before use otherwise were setting the battery up for a short life span.so i let it charge and not long after, im talking couple hours the fone said full battery. i assumed this was the case so i took it off the charger and started playing with it. not long after it started losing battery, and now after a full charge it oly lasts for 2 days max, thats with an average use of the fone, not excessivly playing games or songs, or texting...do yu guys think ive ruined the batteris life span?

Hello Smithoz. In answer to your question, to be honest I don't think this phone is sturdy enough to dish out to business colleagues. It might not stand up to heavy use, and definitely won't like being dropped.
Mine is very much for personal/light use, and we get along just fine - but I am very careful with it.

what is offline mode?

Offline mode is when you are on an aircraft or anytime you want the phone off but still want to use the MP3 player, Camera ,etc.

I REALLY need to no if the Samsung D900 can support a 2GB memory card. For some reason when putting one in it tells me that i=theres a error so im not sure if its the phone has a problem or it just doesnt support 2GB

Suggestion. Turn phone off>insert memory card>turn phone ON>FORMAT!!!!
NO card will work until you FORMAT it. same as a hard drive on your computer

Thinking of two or three D900 for business /travel purposes. Camera downloads and doc upload and viewing is very important But office is all mac OSX computers. Can anyone tell me what I can and cannot do with MAC OSX and the D900?

This is a fantastic phone. Gorgeous looking, lovely screen colours and sounds, and now that I have adjusted the video recording mode to "Normal" (not forgetting to press 1 for Full screen when playing back ) I can say that the picture quality is excellent. The D900 is very light, and you could say delicate. It might not stand up very long to heavy business use. I am thrilled to own it, and feel that I am at the cutting edge of today's technology. Can't stop playing with it. The D900 that is.

I love this phone also. I see that you found how to take long videos. Bravo. I imagine you are one of the few who actually READ the manual. Go ahead and keep playing with it and check out the vibration function (VBG)
