Hello CheeMeng. You have to ask yourself if you really want 3G. Personally I dont, and the D900 is great without it. Not at all impressed with the video quality though.

Hello 12K. I don't experience this problem. Are you pushing the slider up fully ?

Hello again LOLO. Go to Settings - then Sound Settings - then Message Tone. That should do it.

Hello LOLO. After u have written your message, you go to OPTIONS and then press 2 - which is SAVE AND SEND (as opposed to SEND ONLY which is number 1 ).

Hello Chillibabe. User guide page 95 says "may not be available, depending on the font type on the dialling screen". I have the same problem as you, but it seems the keypad tone cannot be adjusted. David

hi guys, i changed the default settings of the audio thru the H/W test when you type in *#8999*8378#

I went to the Audio Settings and Normal and then edit the RxPGA and the Rx Vol (Level 1 -5.

I need to know the default value for Rx PGA and Rx Vol Level 1-5. I copied it before but I lost the paper where I wrote the values.

Please check you fone and paste here the default values for Rx PGA and Rx Vol.

                  *#8999*8378# >> H/W Test >> Audio Settings >> Normal

Hi guys, I read a lot of bad comment about D900. I am going to get either D900 or SEK800. At my country, SEK800 cost US$26 more than D900. Moreover, K800 has 3G but D900 don't. Can you guys give me some opinion about it?

I've just bought d900 and found it a very sophisticated phone. I can read sms, e-mails and download music from the computer. The problem is the keytone. I just can't stop to make noise each i press the key. Overall, good, slim, unique and sharp camera

This is much better than the E900 which is rubbish, I love this but have same problem with key tones, it won't let me in although it was working but has somehow switched off, I have the red D900 and it is really cool

been a nokia user since 2002. finally decided to change...and i just got the d900 few days ago =D

is there any way to change the text font size and set it to the default size???

                            another thing...my d900 can't play mp3s with bitrates higher than 192 kbps. i uploaded a 191 kbps mp3 n it'll play. but anything higher than that...it'll just say the file's not supported. =/

camera is quite good. but taking a photo using auto-focus takes abt 3 secs shutter time. ggrrr! but when using pan-focus, it takes abt a sec?

battery life is really ...!! i've been charging my phone every night since i got it. guess that's what u can expect from a super slim phone. oh well =(

overall am quite happy i got the phone. not regretful. it's absolutely gorgeous ^-^ despite the cheap plastic-y look. and video recording is so so much better than i expected. way to go samsung!

Be careful guys. This phone freezes too. When writing a msg or using wap! It freezes suddenly. I then have to remove the battery to put it off. I regret buying it. Its slim but very wide.

can anyone tell me how to remove the keypad tones? I have tried and cannot select when on the menu, it won't respond, and shows up as a dull orange tone, instead of the bright orange as the rest of the options.

be very careful with this phone, it breaks easily - i had it in my back pocket sat down and bang, screen cracked. not the protective glass but underneath. had to pay £85 to have a new one fitted and the guy in the shop said the D900 break very easily and he personally would not put it in any pocket. overall good phone though just could have been made stronger maybe with a bit more use of metal for delicate parts
