        To Vic

Read through these comments and you will see that question has been asked and answered loads of times,

Turn the Volume to Min whilst in standby mode, Via the volume buttons on the left hand side of the phone.

I just got this phone few days ago. I put in a 1GB Micro SD card (Kingston) in it, but it says 'NOT ALLOWED'. Why is that? Do i have to turn something on, or the phone just dont support 1GB card? Thanks very much.

got one also - copy files to mcard and switch usb mode to mass storage - move files that way. Works well.
Loverly phone , average camera - worse than sh903- better than sony 3 meg thingy.
good speakers! the notepad display for dialing is greast for scoring chicks :)
Battery lifes is very poor. 1-2 days max with biz use.
Great screen - thus the battery use....
                Recomended.

I have been with this phone only for a day and it works wonderfully so. I'd certainly recommend it to my friends. A phone to die for....Keep up the good work Samsung.

I had this phone for 10 days now and I think it's great!! Menue and volume keys are straight forward.takes a bit of getting used too after having motorloa phones for a while now, but just read the instructions and play around with the menues, it's easy! I would highly recommend this phone - I LOVE IT !!!

If you find that you can't hear calls on the D900, check to see if you still have the thin plastic proctective film over the screen. This also cover the speaker and makes calls sound muffled. Many people didn't even realise this film was on their phone as it is very hard to spot.
