i love the samsung d900. i got this phone when it first came out. but i have a little problem with it. i can hear the person from the other line loud and clear. but for some reason the person from the other line have trouble hearing me. is there a way i can make the microphone louder?

yeah this is a very nice fone...one thing only i notice is that you can't change it's msg tone...too bad...if u have a friend having the same fone u'll get confused who's fone is having a message..:(

Hi Rebecca,
I also had this trouble but it becomes so simple when you know how. When your on the camera shot there should 2 little icons on the screen. What you need to do is press the volume control on the side to change the view. You can have the shot upside down or back to front. This really is an amazing phone. Hope you get it sorted. Let me know how you get on.

Overall the phone is great. Just want to know that while you are talking to someone, the display light goes off after a while.Cant u keep that on somehow?

When you say you transfered your mp3's from your PC to the phone, are you placing them in the phone's regular memory or on an SD card? Presumably the regular memory. But is there also a way to play ringtones stored on the SD card?

To Emailer,
Back up all your stored Data first
then tupe in *2767*3855# This will do a full EEPROM Resetand will return all settings to normal, but this might also erase the stiff you've uploaded onto your phone so far.
Next time write down all the settings before you fiddle with them so you can return it anytime.

Samsungs been around or a bit now but the only thing they seem not bothered about is seeing your photos you have taken in full screen they always seem to thing your going to connect your phone to your tv or pc but thats wrong so Samsung get this sorted out an you will sell more phones ,i got the Nokia N73 an viewing your photos an videos on full screen shows the D900 up

TUT TUT TUT, I thought samsung could move on from typical slide designs, u made your point with D600 AND D500 heck even E900.
i think we get the point samsung can make nice slides

dam it... everything great except 2 thing.
first, the picture stored in the media is slow to call out.
second, the msg tone can only use the default tone. i cannot choose my own downloaded tone and recorded tone. this is sad.
Anyone can advise, pls... i love this phone!

Now i have SE K800i for 2 months and i like to change it with D900 coz it is smaler and slimer but i have 2 questions about D900?
1.Can you select Ring tone and vibra at same time?
2.Can you set any Video as as ring tone (video ring tone)?

Almost perfect phone, i have it 3 months without any problems. Music plays loud and clear, pics quality also impressive :)

I screwed my settings under Test mode>H/W test>Audio settings>NORMAL, HEADSET etc.
Is there some place where I can found standard settings ?
Or can some great person write them up here ?

I've been a nokia user for five year and i decided to go for a change and went for the samsung D900. The phone is looks grat has some slick features. I have a few things I'm wondering if someone could help me out with.
Is there a txt message counter?
How do you ensure that sent txts are saved in the sent items?
Checked the user guide and nothing.
These are basic features I would have expected the phone to have.
