Hi,
Had this D900 for a month now and it's been great.
Used a 1GB SANDISK microSD card without any problems.
For faster taking of picsm turn of the auto focus, it works fine at objects around 1 ft to 1 meter distances.
Use autofocus for taking close ups (Max 10cm close up)
Best Camera settings i found so far is ISO Auto, White balance Auto, Spot exposure metering, Night scene program
Battery Life is average with heavy use of MP3 player, a few cam shots, some video, some games and lots of sending messages and calling. (it'll last you the whole day through) if on standby it'll probably last at least 48~72 hours (i'm a heavy user so i charge daily)
PC suite is great as I an manage the files and contacts on my phone directly, I can even send messages by using my keyboard.
Transferring of files from PC to phone is flawless, using both Mass storage mode and via PC suite (Directly to phone memory)
I can't understand why other people has so many gripes, maybe you get your phones from sub standard sellers that's why you suffer so much.
Oh well that's what the warranties are for, if you don't like it return it, but for me, one of the best phones i've used so far.

If you buy this phone, you will regret it. Much better off with something half the price. Avoid, avoid, avoid. This phone is not worth the price of a text. I have swapped the sim back into my older but far superior sony ericsson so I can make more than one phone call and still have battery left. This phone is the worst electronic item I have ever owned.

ive got 1gb sandisk memory card in mine and works fine,but i have had trouble with kingston and other cheap make memory cards......

@ WC... this phone cant handle 1GB cards?? what?? this phone supports microSD cards which are currently upto 2GB and plans for 4GB and 8GB are in the pipeline.

Even T-Mobile's Samsung T809 aka D820 supports 1gb memory cards and this phone can't that's bull crap...I still like the phone for everything else but very disappointed. My mom uses T809 and I just put my Kingston 1gb it works fine.

can anyone from sg who own this phone tell me abt the camera speed and music quality?? ppl say it take 3sec between pressing button and getting pic. is that true? what kind of earpiece they bundle with?

this phone isnt too bad, its more for the ladies and no guy should really have one. in the USA there is a bid campain for breast awearness. Features are lacking and battery life is terrible. My advise is stay away from this phone unless your a female.

I have to agree with WC. I have a kingston micro sd 1Gb. and work fine until saturday. after saturday it said not allowed... what is wrong?

I say it again in PLAIN ENGLISH:Check the samsungmobile website.If 1GB works,it is just luck.Samsung allows up to 512MB.

To person who posted it on the bottom, what did u have to do to get the memory card working?? cuz I was using mine until this morning but it stopped working at all it keep on saying "Not Allowed" is there anything we have change or something...it happened after I remove it from my phone...

Its is a great phone but for the last 3-4 days I am having a problem, whenever I try to take a picture or make a video the phone doesn't respond and gives a message "Preview Error". Can anyone plz help me with this problem, thax.

if your volume sounds too low take off the protective layer off the screen because it covers the speaker i thought i had a fault in my phone i was gonna take it back to the shop :) silly me ;)

ive got a problem with camera it takes pictures from opposite side so what shud be on the left is on the right,but in video mode its ok...any answers out there..thanx...

I just got this phone today. it's awesome!! well, if there is one thing i don't like is the menu style and option to send text msg. well beside that, it's slim, many small options that you haven't seen. I always count on samsung and this is the most awesome phone i ever had(most recent ones were D500 and D600).

Skillz: Try using the d807 mms and internet settingd from cingulars website under "support".
