To P.Marks: I have the same problem.The only way is to switch to silent mode when typing messages.Anyone else please help!

Love the look and the weight, Had the D600 which was pretty good. I have one problem however, which somebody on here may be able to help me with i hope. I Can not turn off the keypad tones (really annoying when texting !) the keypad tone in the sound menu is shaded out, does anyone know a way round this.

Upgraded to this pile of dog poo and would not recommend it anyone else. Awful, awful, awful. Going back to Sony Ericsson. Their 2 megapixel cameras are better than pile of w*nk they claim is 3 megapixel. Have now sold this for the excellent K800i.

soffle-they just mean the sticky plastic protective sheet that covers the screen when u buy the phone. to increase volume use arvins settings ( post a few pages back) i did this on mine and it works great.
to remove memory card just use your nail to push down on the top of card in the phone and it will spring out. hope this helps

Help please. Any idea how to transfer contact phonebook from a Sony E to D900 via Bluetooth? I get a confirmation message that the file (with vcf extension) has been received but I only find one contact on the Samsung. Is the file "saved" somewhere and if yes how do I find it? Thanks

If anybody wonders why volume is still low even if you take the plastic off there is a simple explanation.
D900 unfortunately has only 69cc volume quality with one speaker compared to D600 which has 103cc and two speakers.
So D600 compared to D900 is better in this field.
Although D900 is a nice phone this omission shouldn't be happen.

My D900 cannot read 1GB micro sd memory card....it looks just like the trans flash but it doesn't say trans flash...is that why?? or this phone cannot recognize 1gb at all....someone please lemme know ASAP....

put memory card in and shows memory card symbol on top of screen put wont allow me to apply any music on the memory card ..an how the hell do i get the memory card out ! plz help

The first poster's got a point... The first and second picture are different phones. Look at the buttons on the left-hand edge, and also the main button in the middle (one has 'ok/i', the other only has 'i')

D900 has two problems,first volume at full is rather low,other party can not hear loud ad clear foolish,second viewing picture n full screen mode can only be viewed when copied on other folder through idiocy.You transfer to PC first then transfer to other folder then view,when n any normal fone full view is option is immediate when u take snap or download.Samsung goes for style still ranks last n resale value.I had to sell at half price E900 to get D900 but this too is Cramp======

Hey guys, some tips. Once you take photos/videos and want to view them on the full screen, press 1 while viewing it. Also the plastic cover over the hearing piece on top of the phone needs to be cut/taken off as you can't hear when people phone you. Thanks for the info about loudspeaker..didn't know how to activate that one! :) Does anyone know how to change the message tone to a MP3 or where you can download a different animated wallpaper?

i have got my d900 two months ago. this phone is excellent but i have a little problem. the volume is pretty loud that i can hear the person from the other line. but they have trouble hearing me. is there a way to fix it by any chance?

Crap camera, crap menu system, stupid features, crap sound. Only good thing is the looks. Sony Ericsson all the way!
