I've been a nokia user for five year and i decided to go for a change and went for the samsung D900. The phone is looks grat has some slick features. I have a few things I'm wondering if someone could help me out with.
Is there a txt message counter?
How do you ensure that sent txts are saved in the sent items?
Checked the user guide and nothing.
These are basic features I would have expected the phone to have.

does anyone has a problem with their d900 slidder? does it turn off and/or on when you slidder it? I read something about that earlier. I wanted to know b4 I buy this phone. Thanks.

Take the pastic cover off the screen to hear people well.
The screen does not have the slit in to hear people.

to turn down the keypad tones press the volume down button at the side of the phone when it is in idle mode. this does not affect the ringing volume or any other volume, took me awhile to work out.

can anybody tell me that how to compare d900 n e900??? which is better? how d900 sound? i heard that e900 sound is bad >.< really?

I've just recieved my new phone however I can't turn off the key pad volume - the option seems to be greyed out. Anyone have any ideas?

I have to agree with some of the earlier posts....it is a phone first...and i have had mine 4 weeks now and think its one of the best phones on the market...slim sexy decent camera

Does anybody have problems with the upper phone pad creaking after you slide it up and use the top portion of the buttons. The sound is like...just isn't durable.

I found out about the memory card issue. I had exact same problem when I inserted my 1gb memory card it couldn't recognize it but all you have to do is put the memory card in and than turn the power off the phone than after few seconds later turn the power back on after that it should highlight the memory card selection. I got 1gb memory in my phone and I can connect to computer and transfer musics,pix.

Hi. I got a D900 on contract yesterday. Its wicked and everythin but im sure i read that it has 70mb internal memory. Yet i've put quite a few songs and that on there and now its sayin i hav 2 delete sum items. :S. Can any1 help asap???

i had the same problem yesterday with my sim card ..all i did was go on setting and phone settin and then usb setting and then click on mass storage ...removed the memory card and replace it and it does work ......i finally wokred that out after lookin all over the net for advice !

hi ppl i need help! recieved my d900 y'day and its wicked however im having problems with my 1gb micro sd card, it keeps saying 'not allowed' and ive heard it has to be formatted to fat 16..how do i do that? thanks bye

Gmac Found the answer, have a look at page 3 on this forum, gives the answer managed to switch off now.
Its because the dialling display in theme, you need to change that to normal.
