To turn off the Keypad tone: From Standby mode you can just volume down key to drop off the keypad tones. That way the pencil writing theme still operates. ;-)

Star, the answer to all your questions is NO. The maximum number of songs in the playlist is 30.

hi all.... just got the d900.... iv got a couple of quick questions.
firstly is there any option which alows the phone to display the time when in idle mode and the slide is down. When i slide down the phone enables keylock and a couple of seconds later the screen goes blank like its turned off. Th only way to check the time is to either slide up or press a button. is there any option to allow the time and date to be displayed like the nokia does when in idle mode.
Also is there any way to get new themes. I have the big ben one and it is cool but i would like the option of some new ones.
last question.... whats the maximum number of songs you can put in a play list??
I await your replies. Thank You.

I recently bought this phone - after reading a lot of the postings I still couldn't find extra information on java codes and also how to add themes to the phone (if possible). Did anyone find a AV Cable for it? (mine did not come with it).

You cant view pictures in full screen you can see them when you press left/right to look at them but you cant make them fill the whole screen like you can with videos on this phone by pressing 1

to Lucy,
Have your ear checked up, maybe there is something wrong with it because there is nothing wrong with the phone.

The last good phone Samsung made was the D500(the only con I can remember was the short battery life), after the D500, all different models of Samsung phones I used have different problems........namely, bad or unstable reception, low ring volume, low ear piece volume, terrible response with keypad/navigation keys actions etc. etc.
Even people that I know encounter different problems with Samsung GSM phones(made in Korea). Software niggles usually arrive after 3-4 weeks of normal use of the Samsung phones.
I have not brought this D900 yet........it's not the matter of money; it,s just that I don't want to get myself pissed again by buying another garbadge phone........I just don't want kill my cells.......not worth it for just a mobile phone!
