What I found most annoying in all these new sliders is that..none of them come with a idle screen saver showing time , miss call or new sms.
i loved these new models..but I hope samsung will keep that feature ,like thay had in D500 to all their upcoming sliders.

phone is awesome, everyone I know loves the phone. Has anyone tried setting up a pop3 email client like gmail on this phone. I have i am able to retreive email but unable to sent it always give me the email connection timeout. Let me know if there are settings that i need to know.

Just to clarify for people, you can get a 3.5mm headphone adapter to fit the d900 off ebay for a few quid, well worth it IMO, but I don't know the sound quality yet.
The "lip" on the bottom can make 1 hand texting slightly harder than other phones, but I'm used to it by now. Main annoyance though is the address book problem where you can't choose what memory to use, with nokia pc suite mucking up all my old numbers so looks like I'll be spending a while putting all my numbers into this...

Hi when i take a photo with the d900 it beeps. Ive turned shutter sound off in settings and it still does it. The only way i can get arround this is by putting the phone in silent mode. Can anyone help?

Hi there.
Looking at possibly getting this phone, I was wondering if an owner / owners could answer my three questions:
1. How hard does the bottom lip underneath the * 0 # keys make texting?
2. I read somewhere that when you go to view pictures you've taken using your handset, they only show up in a really small fashion, not using all of the screen available?
3. I also read that you can't transfer pictures you take onto removable storage - so if you want to get your pictures etc on to your computer (or vice versa), is there any way to get around this?

ortiz, the loudspeeker and speaker is combined, besides that's a totally useless comment, are you listening to mp3 through the loudspeeker all the time? does iPod have a loudspeeker?
Loud enough? there are laws (at least in Europe) which prevents even mp3 players to be loud using headphones!

I was going to get the D900 but a friend who works for the company I work for git the h/set everything seemed ok until he played the mp3 player on it through the speaker.
The volume is really low and it doesnt go loud when playing the mp3 player through the phone without headphones.
That put me straight off, I can't believe samsung would be thick enough to not make a loud speaker for the mp3 player.
Ill wait for sony ericsson to bring something enw out

Ive just bought the D900 and really pleased with it, very happy. Im having trouble downloading songs onto it? can any one help me. It has the USB cable, but when i download it onto the phone it says error and doesnt allow me to play it? cheers

does anyone know of imserba??? i went on it and linked my phone (nokia) to the pc and downloaded games, themes anything to it using nokia PC suite. not sure if it will work with the samsung but its just a suggestion.

bp u could get that phone from cingular then unlock it from any cell phone store and then u can use it for any company

Nice, sleek and rocket phone. Just about anything you could imagine is packed into this phone. It does not have FM radio, but it's an overkill.
And IRda missing - but with bluetooth, why going backwards to the dinkey world?
Very disappointed with software, though - PC Studio3 is a lame duck comparing to Sony Ericcson PHone Explorer developed by some folks from Germany @ Lasyk.net

I just got mine delivered from 02. Does anyone know if there's a downloadable hack to increase the volume?? (such as you get on the Sony Walkman)
I ask as I don;t hear so good and rely on my mobile as my alarm clock.

anyone knows if samsung slim/sleek phones have good construction? whis one is better to buy? d600 or d900. i love d600 by it's design, even i haven't had it yet. i plan to sell my se w810 and go with samsung mobile.
