I've got it, 2 days ago. Display is SUPERIOR, design as well, even though plastic sucks. I would prefer titanium and higher price. For users of D500, D600: D900 is much bigger, but it's slim. New black UI is nice, I like it.
pros: everything except...
cons: plastic body, small video size (same as D500)
if you need more info, don't hesitate to ask me here...

Currently have the D608...great phone, great camera, would love to stay in the samsung brand, however the only real issue is I have is w/ the sim card/phone book memory...Samsung really needs to fix this problem...Half of the phones calls and text messages I only see a telephone number, even though they are one of my contacts both on the sim and the phone memory. Further displaying the list of contacts both from the sim and from the phone at the same time..makes my list double long...even more fustrating is typing in a contact, lets say it starts w/ J, finding the name, press dial, then it goes not to that person but rather the first J listed in my contacts...So frustrating...if there is a fix for this someone please let me know...

Thanks Mubarak! :)
Not being able to add your own words to the predictive text is something that would really have bugged me so that's brilliant that you can on the D900!
Shame about the headphones but swapping the Samsung headphones for better quality ones would be a luxury rather than an essential anyway so the D900 is still looking my favourite at the moment.
Thanks again!

I used to have a Samsung and then switched to an SE phone. Now I'm planning to upgrade and have been seriously thinking about the D900. I have read through all the comments so far and have 2 questions:
1. Can you add your own words to the predictive text memory (as you can on SE phones but I couldn't on my old samsung)
2. What kind of socket do the headphones use? Meaning do I have to use samsung headphones or can I buy better headphones with a normal headphone jack plug?
Thanks in advance,
SJ

samsung - you need to include postal addresses and more details to your phone book - your phonebook software lets down these great phones. Had to switch back to trusty Nokia as you do not include basic PIM features in your phone book .

Hey people. I am just about to buy a new phone. I like the samsung D900 and E900 but I am having trouble choosing which one is better as it seems the E900 has a lot more to do but not as good camera as the D900??
