k800 has no match with the d900 when it comes to the camera..try looking & reviewing it in slashphone.com

n1tc. When you have attached you phone to a PC Go to Menu>Settings>Phone Settings>USB Settings >Mass Storage.
Your PC will then see the memory card and you can copy direct to it.

n1tc, use a card reader, this phone supports only usb 1.1 therefore it is quite slow.

This phoen is good and all but the only problem i have with it is that the software that comes with the phone does not allow to send files straight to the memory card which is annoying as i can only put about 60mb on at once and as i'm trying to fill a 1gb card with songs it takes ages to put songs to the phone then use the phoen to move to card, and its impossible to move videos more than about 60mb, does anybody know how to transfer straight to the memory card cheers.

well, i think there are many questions about the new samsung D900 and i think i found all the features that this phone can have.
the phones has a brillant screen.. there are 2 options for change the screen, one is use by theme means it is a special gif picture with some birds flyind during the day and some coments or stars falling dow during the night. yes, it changes, during the day it is a sunny day, and during the nigth time it changes to a clean sky night.
the other choice is use a custom screen, a reguar picture but it changes to format of the screen, it means the clock is up on the rigth cornet , the date on the left. the logo of the network you can activate it or desactivate it. only if this choice is picked.. for t-mobile peopele, it will show the real network. in some cases, it shows cingular. for people to hate cingular you can disactivate this option and you wont see it on the screen.
the phonebook is easy to use, you can sync with outlook, but if you create a new contact from the phone you must enter the birthday of the contact, because if you dont do that, the phone shows wrong date !! so, i dont know how to desactivate this function. you have groups , speed dial, and each contact can have it own ringtone.. can be mp3 or default ones. the problem with this phone is if you want to choose picture, or ringtone for a specific contact, it asks you to save the pic or ringtone in the phone memory, it means, every pic or ringtone that is gonna be use by the phone as a picture id or ringtone HAS to be saved in the phone memory ( TOO BAD !!! )
About the keypad tones, you can silence them, just prest the down botom in the lef side of the phone till the key volume is 0 ( zero )
there is ony 2 skin color, black and white.. you can not change themes.. but the black color menu i like it.
the music player is ok. no too impressed but works.. this is inside the phone applications, also has voice recoreder, image editor ( the picture has to be save in the phone memory to edit it) the bluetooth is good, fast and support stereo handset.. that is really cool. also has the java world, it has few games, some are trial version.
if you download some japa applications, they will save in that folder.. for example i downloaded opera mini and google maps. both work very good.
the browser is symple.. a regular wap browser..
the message center is good, regular mms, sms, and email. there is a new feature call SOS Message. it is a particular funtion that if you are in troubles and you can not call.. in standby mode, press the up key volume bottom 4 times and the phone sends a message to a specific contact saying I AM IN PROBLEMS, CALL ME.. so your friend or relative calls you but the phone does not ring, it automatically answers the phone and your friend can hear what is going one there. then he call call cops or 911. good feature..!!
my files , in there you can find all your files stored in the phone memory or memory card.. the problem when you try to view a picture, you can't zoom in or zoom out.but you can view it in full screen if the picture is saved in the phone memory. when you play videos you cant play them in full screen.
the planner has alarm, calendar ( you can change the view from monthly view to weekly ), has memo, world clock, calculator, and convertor ( units ), timer and stopwatch.
the camara is very good, 3megapixles is really clear. but every time you take a picture,it saves it in the phone memory, you cant change it to save in to the memory card. the zoom in the camera is poor, it has flash, you can change the size of the picture, and put some funny frames, effects, etc. great camera for a phone..
in setting you can change the time, and date, i think it does not support autoupdate.. there are shortcuts you can custumize them. for example the volume key can be set up as to reject a call and send a text message saying : I WILL CALL YOU LATER .. cool feature.
YES, it has vibration and sond AT THE SAME TIME, ..

it does not look cheapy like the chocolate. I DONT LIKE CHOCOLATE !!
but the only problem i am concerned is the memory card is not connected with the phone.it means if you want to used files from the memory card as a ringtone, wallpaper or just picture id, they have to saved in the phone memory.

Sam, if the battery is lasting 1-2 days when you constantly use mp3 and bluetooth then it is great battery life!

I got one the other day, the phone is brilliant and amazing in every way. But like all phone there is a draw back, the battery life is not as good as it seems, if you buy this phone dont constantly use the MP3 or bluetooth or the battery life will only last 1 - 2 days.

Hi all
Can any one tell me that what picture resolution is required in order to get the full screen caller id picture. In 320 X 240, the caller picture only takes a part of the screen, but the same image takes all screen when used as wallpaper.Any ideas?

Just got this phone, excellent piece of kit. One question, how do you set a caller image, i have a photos ready but every time i go to SET AS and then select 2.Caller image, a message appears saying EMPTY, please help THANKS

yeah i really like this set but the sound is not much louder than d600 :(
but it is very slim n really fit!
but can i download the games or softwares for this d900.if YES then from where.i mean which site.please help me.and how to install them on d900.

Got the D900... nice phone, so far so good.... bluetooth a problem.... using it with my cars parrot ck3100 handsfree... paired up ok, but every time I get into my car, it does not connect automatically! Not good if I have to select to connect each time.

Bluetooth... Activation = on
My Devices =Parrot CK3100
My phones visibility = on
My phones name = Arun
secure mode = off
Another matter.... when replyng to a sms, how can I reply with original txt included? I know I can use forward to do it.
Any help will be apreciated.
