Hi, got this phone last week and happy with it til now, but when I make a call or receive a call and go to put it on loud speaker, it asks me yes or no, when I press yes it turns the phone off then comes back on straight away! Anyone know how to sort this as I use the loud speaker all the time?

Guys, is it possible for this Samsung D900 to vibrate and ringing at the same time? Because most of Samsung phone can't do that. Thanks!

No, you can't turn the volume any higher!
The phone is 13mm thick, so what type of ringer volume you people expect?

Thank you so much- SAMSUNG for your stupid slim fashion!

Just bought this fone. It's really nice and all but I hate the Contacts cause it doesnt allow you to choose the memory to use. And the volume is quite low for my taste especially when youre used to other fones like nokia and sony ericsson. But I love the camera! all in all this fone's really nice. Oh plus the battery life is quite disappointing. So if you all should decide to use this fone make sure that you have an extra batt with you and/or a car charger when going out.

I have just bought the d900 and these pictures do absolutley no justice. The actual phone looks MUCH sleeker and sexier. The camera is less then what I expected, but obviously, this is just a phone. The menus are nice and streamlined, and the screen is very crisp and clear. The 3d feature on the phone sounds very nice when using the headphones given. Overall, this is one of the best phones I have ever seen in such a small package.

Try this if your samsung's volume/ringtone is not loud enough. Peel off the plastic cover and cut out a portion that covers the speaker.

and it should solve the problem.

hey you all people, when you say that the volume is poor compared to sony ericsson,(i read it a lot in the opinions),do you mean tu ringing volume?or the speaker, voice volume?please tell me coz i hesitate between K800 and D900 but k800's lens protection looks fragile, and i have a samsung e720 who's sound is completely poor (the speaker sound),i can barely hear people on the phone,so i fear that D900 has the same problem??

                      hi guys,

do u have the glitch in the cam ?
when every options are in high res, it feels that the cam will take the best pic ever, but when it is saved, its blury. Autofocus or what?

                        Hiya guys,
I had the sony ericsson K800i i upgraded to it from the k750i and i just found it too big and bulky to put anywhere..and the slid lens on the back for the camera i think would have broken very quickly! so i changed to the samsung d900 yesterday and i think it is brill! its taking some gettin used to as i have been a sony user for a while and UPO your tips were brill :) thankyou. has anyone else found the same about the k800i?

                          RE: Ringer Volume
Just in case anyone is as 'stupid' as me!
When I bought my Samsung D900, I was over the moon with it and wanted to keep it exactly as I had received it, for as long as possible. I therefore left the screen protector on it.
My only disappointment was that I could hardly hear the phone ring?
ANSWER - REMOVE THE SCREEN PROTECTOR AND PROBLEM RESOLVED! THE RINGER SOUNDS LOUDLY AND AT LAST I CAN HEAR IT.
I hope this post might help someone else.
                          "Cheers"

To the person who wanted to know about silent mode?

Dont know if it the same as on my samsung, but the quick way to put it on silent is to press and hold the hash (#) key down.

If ths works just do exactly the same and it takes it out of silent mode.

                                    Good luck

I just got this phone in the mail. I ordered it off ebay and got it for a good price of AUD $600.00 which i though was pretty good.
I am extremely happy with the phone. It has aweseom features.
There is one thing i can't work out which i was hoping someone could help me with.
How do i put the phone on 'silent' mode? i have found the 'silent' setting in the sound settings, but i can't seem to figure out how to actual put it on silent mode. Is there also a quick way to do this rather than having to go into setting all the time?
                                        Cheers
