i was wondering how is the speaker on the d900 can someone please answer
im deciding between the k800 and the d900
i want a loud speaker on the phone

i am thinking of buying this phone. can anyone please honestly tell me if its worth it??? i dont care if its camera it is not the best just if its overall performance is ok and i want to know its drawbacks. Like low ringing volume or slow menu....

try to push button 1 andhold it for a while. Then you should see full screen video playback. At least it was so with d600

Yes it does play mp3's in the background like the E900.

Erm... are you having a go at the question asker or the question answerer?
Because if you are having a pop at the latter, that is particularly stupid not least when you have just answered the same question yourself. Not only that, but if the question was never "asked" then i would never have been a "detective" and given an answer, as said in your retardedly childish, atrocious English.
Moreover, you did concern me. Why do you buy insurance just so that you can throw your phone at a wall? Perhaps if you didnt throw your phone at solid objects, and used it in a sensible manner - like me - then you wouldnt have to waste a single penny on insurance. Because it's pointless. Oh, and a waste of money, suckered onto people just like you off desperate, loser low-life sales men.

Keypad tones are f*ckin annoying. But if you really want to annoy the hell out of people even further by changing the tones of your keypad, go into settings, then option 4 then option 2. If the option is 'blanked' out, then you need to switch the theme off in settings - it's option 3 then otion 1.

Only a no-friends nerd would ask a question like that, but since i feel sorry for you, i'll answer your question:
1. Both cameras on both phones are sh*t. As is every other 3MP camera i have ever used, whether on a phone or on a native digicam. For that reason, ignore the camera and if you are that desperate for a camera, go out and buy a decent 5-7MP digicam instead.
2. In terms of operational use, know that the E900 is touch screen, making texting and calling people a complete ball ache. Almost everyone who has used it moans about the horrible over sensitive buttons.
3. The E900 is probably one of the most feminine objects outside of something that is pink or plugs a bleeding leak. For that reason, unless you are a girl or Elton John, then you should definately avoid it for risk of getting beaten up. Not for the fact that someone would want to steal your phone, just for the fact that you had the phone in the first place..

You can also turn off kepad tones (with the theme on) by using the volume control on the side of the phone - just put it to "0".

when the video is playing press one and it will be fullscreen.

KEYPAD TONE not highlighted. If you have the theme setting for the text. Where it scribbles the numbers like a stylus. Then you can't change the keypad tone.
Goto menu, display settings, dailing display... turn theme off.

hey does anyone know which phone is better between the samsung D900 and the samsung E900 ... I realize the D900 has a 3.15 megapixel camera compared to the E900's 2 mp camera ... but other then that is either noticably better?

Just got my D900 today. Overall pretty impressed.
Can anyone please tell me how to get videos recorded to be played on full screen. I keep getting a 1/3 of screen with the controls showing e.g. start/pause.
Secondly I cannot turn off the key tones
Otherwise all is good

Can any one give me a more detailed answer to how the keypad tone can be changed. I have read a comment about going to display settings but it doesn't help.

With reference to the comment about dropping this phone!!!
What is the point in telling us that are you a detective "if i drop it its fooked bcoz its slim" GENIUS how did you think of that?
do me a favor and go through this whole website and write that comment on all slim phones just incase we can't tell that if we throw it at the wall i will break!!
Thats why we buy insurance!!!
A real comment tho why can't samsung make this 3g its gonna cost a F$%&^*g fortune to log onto the internet!!!

I am not surprised.......almost all Samsung phones have software & hardware problems........they all sucks!.......not even the Samsung digital camera that I own is any good(thought I gave it a try after I sold my Sony T1), definately will go back to Sony(Japanese electronic) product.
Advise :-
Better get a reliable Nokia phone or Sony ericsson or even a Motorola & trash your Samsung.

Ijust got my d900 yesterday...i was playing around with it..then it froze on me...then it blacked out...i thought its outta batteries..but when i tried charging it...nothing happens..no "charging" signal.. :-( anyone have the same problem?
